   Food was good. Wait time for drinks, appetizers and food was poor, it was Mother’s Day so I understand but I would a restaurant would be prepared for this. Had a great experience previous times so it’s unfortunate.

   Mothers day was very busy and I think our server was stretched too thin to be properly attentive. Food was good, though.

   Great experience -- in particular, the entire wait staff was amazing --- particularly on Mother's Day when there was a large crowd, my water glass was never allowed below half-way and all the food was brought promptly at the same time.

   Calamari soaked in grease. pizza poor with no cheese on multiple slices. water boy spilling water over the table, dripping on food and table. Terrible first experience, poor food, will never be back.

   It’s a lovely place, elegant yet casual, and the food is always very good. I just wish it wasn’t meat-locker freezing in there (already in May) and the service staff was a little better trained: basic things like not placing a knife on the table by reaching their arm across the face of one of the guests and removing plates before the table is done eating. Those are service details that separate proper restaurants from the chains.

   We love the food and atmosphere. We have Been here several time and the food and atmosphere are always very good. Wait staff is also very good. Having said that, waiting 15-30 to get a table with a reservation is very frustrating, there is room for improvement.

   Awesome meal! The bread was fabulous and the murhroom ravioli was to die for.

   My dish was the hanger steak and it was butchered and overcooked. It was charred on the outside and just enough red in the middle to qualify as almost medium rare. I should have sent it back but we were on a time table. My wife and friend were happy with their selections. We’ll go back but I’ll pay attention to the presented dishes.

    I am from Atlanta and was just looking for a restaurant near my hotel in Houston. I did a great job by selecting Coppa Osteria. The food and service were both excellent. We dined outside on a pleasant evening in a nice neighborhood. This place was comparable to some of the best Italian restaurants in Atlanta. Houston is lucky to have it.
