excellent service (thank you patrick) and delicious food in a great neighborhood setting that we can walk to!
Great little restaurant, very quiet
Enjoyed our dinner at Copita. One of the better restaurants we have found in that area. Like many places right now, they are suffering due to staff shortages. Hang in there!
Fabulous creative menu, excellent staff, charming ambience.
Great place for our first night in Bar Harbor! Quaint, charming and a wonderful dining experience.
Enjoyed meeting Patrick and the staff.

Excellent service, beautiful ambience. Small cozy with nice wine selection.
Food good but not great--not particularly interesting or creative flavors for either the vegetarian dish or the steak option. Expect better food for the price. Appetizers seemed particularly overpriced.
A small place and a staff that was trying hard to accommodate despite being one waiter down. Food was tasty and warm.
Everything about it was so good!!
One of the best meals during our 17-day trip in Maine! Cozy, nicely decorated space; excellent bar and wine list; attentive service; excellent food -- expertly and lovingly prepared and presented.
wonderful local fine dining restaurant, however it is not in the downtown area of Bar Harbor, but was only a 10 min drive away.
Our dining experience was outstanding in all respects from the ambience to the service to the cocktails to the entrees to the dessert. We highly recommend Copita!
Food was just mediocre for the higher price point. Service very nice though
A cozy, little Northeast Harbor, ME eatery that has a similar vibe to its sister restaurant, Havana in Bar Harbor. A smaller menu allows the chef to focus on the food, which is excellent. Very nice presentation of fresh, local product. Friendly service made the experience one worth re-visiting Copita.
Great local find. Very creative chef! Away from the hustle of Bar Harbor.
A diverse selection of dishes, each with unique presentation. Innovative cuisine in an unpretentious setting. Enjoyable.
It was a relief to escape from bustling Bar Harbor and to find a peaceful location with really good food and service.
Great quaint restaurant. We realized late when talking to our waiter, Patrick, that it was the same owners as Havana which was excellent as well. Very good menu. Highly recommend this great spot.
Appetizers were delicious: my clams especially were exceptional. Fish haddock entree was amazing as well. Pasta was a bit large and dense: half the serving with some veggies or whatever to lighten it up might have been nice… but for real, that chocolate olive oil cake is AMAZING. We’ll definitely go back k if we can get a reservation!
We had an excellent meal at Copita. The location is definitely unassuming and low key. However, the food was excellent and delivered served in an unpretentious way. We couldn’t have been more pleased.
We are well traveled and frequent high end diners. This was one of the best meals I can remember in recent history, we had the "their version of carbonara" pasta and the halibut. So well prepared, ingredients all worked well together with surprising twists. Fresh, warm (served appropriate timing) and just delicious. We even did dessert, which was a dense but moist chocolate cake with a touch of sea salt and caramel with a sauce with macadamia nuts. Divine.
We had excellent service and wonderful food, drink, and ambiance!
Terrific dinner! Requested table outside, and Alex really came through. Great wine and food. Sunchokes were delicious, as was pasta. Great evening!
Delicious from first bite to last. Best meal we had on MDI.
I was expecting to be wowed from the menu, but we were a little disappointed. The clams were served with grilled pita bread, which really didn’t pair well. We were expecting rustic grilled bread to dip into the broth. The melon appetizer also fell short with what felt like a hunk of salami wedged between the melon and cheese (thinner slices would have drastically improved it). We honestly skipped dinner.good service though.
We enjoy restaurants for not only their flavorful, creative cuisine but also for an energetic ambiance. Unfortunately we did not get to experience the ambiance of Copita for we were seated in the back of the restaurant which was partitioned off from the rest of the restaurant…just us, a unoccupied 6 top , and the bathroom. It was early, 6pm, our reservations were made months ago, and we asked if we could have a table at the front as there were only 3 - 4 tables seated. All the other tables were reserved we were told and arriving soon. We had to wonder if our “open table” status vs local status relegated us to the back room. Maybe an off night…food disappointed. Quite a contrast to the wonderful dishes and delightful service of our previous nights in Bar Harbor.
Excellent menu. Amazing cocktails. Just a perfect way to end a day!
We enjoyed everything about Copita. The server was very knowledgeable, attentive and pleasant. The menu choices were plentiful.
Everybody enjoyed the appetizers, entrees & deserts!
We’ve recommended Copita to our friends!
Fabulous meal at this little gem on Mt Desert island. Highly recommend it if you're looking for dinner at a quiet place outside Bar Harbor. The service was prompt and warm. Dishes were light and delicious, beautifully presented. Great cocktails and selection of anejo tequilas!
good place with creative food, somewhat limited outside sitting
This was the best meal we have had during this visit to Acadia and one of our favorite dinners in years. What a gem to find!
Everything was delicious and the service was perfect. Will return again for sure.
Service great. Loved the atmosphere. Looser dish wonderful. Halibut was somewhat overcooked amd a little bland but still good.
Terrific food - really a treat with few restaurants of this quality on Mount Desert Island. The service is a little shaky, completely understandable considering the lack of staff and their relative inexperience. I'll always return whenever I'm in town.
We had a nice evening out at Copita...We ate too much lobster at lunch so stayed with mostly vegetarian offerings - I am not sure that those are its' forte - as we had heard that their halibut and lamb chops were very good - but it was certainly an enjoyable evening out. Service was lovely and accommodating.
Awful restaurant . Terrible entrees. Ran out of many items. Really disappointed
Delightful dinner. Thoughtfully staffed and the food was unique vs. most restaurants in the area.
I have eaten there 3 times this month and everything was delicious: pasta with chicken, halibut and 14 oz ribeye.
Choc dessert made with olive oil is deleeecious.
The service and food was fabulous! Thank you,
.Somewhat limited menu but food and service were excellent. Interesting wine selection and not overpriced. Overall a nice spot for a special evening. Not the best with kids.
