Dined her to celebrate my husband’s B Day. We ordered fillet mignon med rare, it came out seared on the outside and dark red in the middle. Husband could have sent it back but the waiter was busy and he was hungry. He ate around the raw part. Also ordered a margarita that tasted like he was sucking on a lemon, yuck. My daughter ordered fillet medallions and salmon she split with me. Her steak had a taste I couldn’t put my finger on, not nasty but not like a what fillet should taste like and I had the salmon, it was ok. My son ordered the blackened tuna and he was happy with his meal. We ordered desserts as well and I really wanted to like them but the crust on the key lime and banana pie were sooo thick, it was difficult to eat and ratio of filling was off. Our waiter was great but I was disappointed with the experience overall based on the price of everything. $$$.

As always, our food and wine was excellent. However, eventhough we let them know, the fact that we were there for my birthday got lost in the translation. As a wine club member, I had a discount for it that wasn't deducted (I should have more closely checked the bill) and in the past, I received a special treat that I didn't get this time around. Maybe something has changed?

My friend wanted to celebrate her birthday here - it was a lovely place for a meal and to also taste some wine before dinner. The staff were friendly and helpful, though it was a bit hectic at the tasting table. Our waiter was outstanding and ensured we had enough water and bread throughout our meal. The food was delicious and well presented. We will certainly be back!
