Reservations set through Open Table for 5:15 pm on a Wednesday evening. Arrived at 5:10 pm and seated by 5:25 pm. Fair, but slower than expected. The appetizers at Cooper’s Hawk are outstanding. Loved the tasty salmon dip, robust bruschetta, potstickers with a wonderfully flavored aoy/ginger sauce, southwestern rolls with a delicious green cashew sauce, and Thai lettuce wraps (except that they were missing the best part - the peanut sauce), The chicken madiera was made of four thinly sliced chicken breast slices with a very flavorful Madeira wine sauce with mushrooms - perfection. The triple petit filet medallions were also excellent with each medallion topped with a Parmesan crust, a blue cheese crust or a pepper crust - again excellent! Our server, Blake, seemed newer, very pressed for time and interested in turning the table as quickly as possible. He didn’t seem to have a command of the menu and when dishes were brought out he didn’t introduce them to us by telling us what the dish was or what the sauces were. He generally kept our tea filled but lagged on the wine and cocktails. The bar was slow to get drink orders filled all evening to all the tables - I think they were terribly understaffed at the bar for the crowd they had. The ambience was a step or two above casual but short of elegant. The sound level was moderate overall - with a couple of louder tables as they consumed more wines. Overall, we had a very good experience. I hope that next time they will have the peanut sauce or tell us in advance they are out of it so we don’t get an unwanted surprise when they serve us something less than what we ordered. Nonetheless, we were satisfied overall and would certainly return again.

We came to celebrate our daughter’s induction into National Junior Honors Society. The food was delicious and the service was great. Definitely would go back as it’s one of our favorite restaurants.

Food, wine, and service are always great. Bruschetta is amazing. The parmesan-crusted chicken was recommended and was just as good. Definitely coming back
