   Our overall experience was good, but not outstanding. The food was the star of the show albeit a little over seasoned. We almost didn’t stay though as when we got seated the Maître D on duty was extremely rude and a little aggressive in her approach. My family and l were not made to feel welcome. Being a special occasion we decided to let her attitude slide but because first impressions count, l do not think we will be returning to Coombe. A shame as the food was lovely.

   Lovely surroundings. Welcoming, warm staff. The food was delicious from the lunch offer with a good range of choices with options. Lovely country aspect at a window placed table. The service was great. Will go again to taste more of the offer.

   The views of the garden are beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. The food was excellent.

   The food was amazing and the service impeccable. A beautiful day to celebrate a family birthday. Staff are so professional and personable. Highly recommended.

   Coombe Yarra Valley was lovely for a special occasion. The staff were warm and welcoming and we were spoilt with a complementary glass of bubbles as it was our anniversary. We really enjoyed the food. The beef ribs were superb and so flavourful and tender; my personal favourite. All the dishes were delicious. The meal, the location and the whole experience were spot on.

   Usually really good but today was disappointing. The beef rib was overcooked and the potato gratin was cooked to the point of being crisps. They did take 10% off the bill, but given that it was 2 out of 3 main meals, I was underwhelmed by the gesture. We have had the same meal on numerous other occasions and it was very nice. Shame.

   We attended for scones this morning. It was absolutely lovely, scones for perfect and the jam was magnificent! Will attend again!
