Coombe - The Melba Estate es un establecimiento de origen inigualable que ocupa la antigua casa de Dame Nellie Melba. El restaurente ofrece una experiencia cultural y gastronómica única, con 2,8 hectáreas de jardines impresionantes e instalaciones preciosas, las cocheras restauradas y la torre del reloj. High tea includes a selection of ribbon sandwiches, delectable sweets and buttermilk scones served with a choice of tea or coffee and free-flowing NV Coombe Yarra Valley Sparkling. $60 per person. 90-minute high tea seating.

Food was beautifully prepared and delicious. We would have liked a few more vegetarian options. There is a good selection of wine. The setting is spectacular with a view of the mountains.

Love the whole experience that Coombe offers. Is spacious, excellent service and delicious food. The surrounding are beautiful and the amazing history of Dame Nellie Melba adds to the whole experience. Thank you Coombe for a wonderful experience Will absolutely go there again 💖

We had a wonderful Sunday lunch, the food was excellent and the service was wonderful. We have enjoyed Coombe on a number of occasions and once again we were delighted.

Our experience was great! The dishes we had between four people, were full of flavour and presentation was great too. The service also couldn't be faulted apart from one drink that needed a reminder. The setting is stunning!

Beautiful setting, excellent menu options, fantastic service. The new Peach Melba was a hit on the table and there were choices to suit all tastes.

The wait staff wasn’t very helpful at all 1. not responsive and not attentive at all - hard to get their attention - forgot our requests 2. Not accommodating - requested to have our 10 pax be seated together but was denied the request. We had pre-booked a table for 4 and a table for 6, as there was no option to book for a table for 10. When we arrived, we were told that we could not push the tables together and the rest of the restaurant (more than half empty) was all booked. We stayed at the restaurant for more than 2 hours and no one else claimed those fully booked tables Yes we were there for more than 2 hours because the wait for the food was extremely long- we waited more than an hour for our food to come. Overall unless you are a retiree and have all the time in the world, I would suggest to stay away.

Delightful Sunday afternoon at Coombe YV. Premium high tea with a beloved friend. The service was fabulous, the location is gorgeous, the food is absolutely delicious and plentiful. The only addition or change I would like to see is 1 x hot item (or maybe 2) on the menu. Lovely afternoon and highly recommended.
