The service was bad. Food was okay. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t go back.
Cook was absolutely outstanding Excellent food the eggplant Parmesan best we’ve ever had, halibut special was outstanding and gnocchi done to perfection The service was outstanding and owner and his staff very friendly! Highly recommend
Great food great service! Everything you want at a phenomenal establishment. Highly recommend over restoration hardware.
One of my fav restaurants, must try the mussels! Excellent wine menu too
Oh my goodness! I can't say enough about this wonderful restaurant. We did a few wine tastings and my friend craved gnocchi. I did a search and found solid reviews on their gnocchi and hoped the rest of us would find something to eat. No one was disappointed. We made a reservation and arrived early, but our table wasn't ready, so we asked if we could sit at the bar. As soon as we sat down, Stephanie and another sweet server took our drink orders and chatted with us. The establishment is small and our table took longer than anyone anticipated, but we felt like old regulars chatting with the servers. We were encouraged to order starters and had Caesar salad and calamari. Both were delicious. We continued to wait for a table, but it was a pleasant wait. When the table was available, we were seated immediately. Stephanie made great suggestions and everyone ate every bit of their food. I had the Eggplant Parmesan, my friend had the gnocchi, and two others had the risotto. We were so full and happy, we couldn't have dessert, but it was one the best meals we've had in wine country. We'll be back!
Let’s face it. Cook doesn’t need a positive review from us. It’s well known for its outstanding food in the area.
The staff were great. The food is beyond awesome and it’s great fun to see how it’s all made in the hectic kitchen.
A must stop on your food journey! And we loved it. Fresh. Tasty and unique. Truly they’ve earned their reputation.
But not the least bit pretentious or snooty. Somehow down to earth and out of this world. ;-)
Amazing service and food. Would definitely recommend the gorgonzola gnocchi!
Food was delicious and service was great. We loved the homemade pastas
Casual, cute cafe feel. Best Bolognese ever!! Tomatoes so fresh and delicious! Will be back!!
Amazing food, always consistent, local favorite. I love this place!!
Super fresh, incredible food! The team was super helpful with wine pairings, sharing info about the ingredients, and helped accommodate dietary restrictions. We would go back in a heartbeat!
The pasta was amazing as well as the heirloom tomatoes with burrata! The service was amazing.
Three small pieces of sausage in the sausage pasta. Sat at a table next to the kitchen with a rotating fan blowing on us.
We love Cook! A neighborhood treat!
Overall pretty good dining experience. Gnocchi cream sauce was amazing, but could have came with a larger portion. (Cost over $1 per noodle). Bread was also amazing. Would definitely come back.
Wonderful food and service in a small restaurant setting.
First visit. Overall nice restaurant, although a bit pricey for lunch. Our pasta dishes were tasteful and fresh, but there was almost no homemade sausage in it.
Came here for the food - and to be honest - the pasta - and in particular- the gnocchi- which is hysterically good
Worth a trip just for that - wine, desert and music too
Delicious food. One of our Saint Helena favorites. Always excellent.
Absolutely wonderful service and exceptional food. Order the Risotto of the day, the Gnocchi and the housemade sausage cavatelli. Shared between 4 of us. It was the best pasta I have had in years.
Our waitress was fantastic. Service was quick with water, bread, anything we needed. absolutely get the appetizers too.
Will be going back again and again and again!
All around amaaaaaaaaazing! Can’t wait to go back!
Cook is one of our favorite restaurants in the Napa Valley! Everything on the menu is delicious, especially the Cavatelli! We love this gem in St. Helena!
Cook Street is our go to restaurant every time we are in the Napa Valley. It never disappoints.
An excellent Napa Valley experience, great food (esp. the burgers), great service and a great view of downtown St. Helena. Would not hesitate to return on our next visit.
The service is second to none! Then the food starts coming and you realize why this place is so good!
Perfect meal and wine list! Get the calimari!
Always great food and service. We especially love that they offer daily specials.
Delicious as always
The short ribs were absolutely delicious and wonderful. Highly recommended!
Wonderful, as always.
Food was better than I remembered it. The shrimp risotto was to die for along with three other dishes.
Get the birrata and the short ribs! Amazingly good with a Napa cab!
Absolutely great experience for dinner. The food was exceptional.
Pasta was excellent and service was great like always
Great local dinning spot
Incredible food that is presented in a picture worthy manner.
It was an amazing first dinner in Naps.
Small quaint and comfortable dining experience. Had our table ready at time of reservation. Calamari was fresh and not rubbery. Everything was extremely fresh and made from scratch. The chopped salad was put together on order as there is an open kitchen of which I was facing, minestrone soup was superb with veggies that were crisp and not mushy, pasta and sauces were fantastic. If you want a nice, freshly prepared delicious meal in a friendly atmosphere, then Cook is your place! It will not disappoint.
