We ate in a booth in the garden room and it was very nice and quiet. Service was great & overall our meal was excellent. The cinnamon and coconut ice creams were amazing! The only issue was a filet that was requested medium was closer to rare. We did not send it back because it was still excellent. But, if someone truly had an aversion to steak cooked less than medium it would have been sent it back. All in all - recommend!

The Bad 1)The salmon was over cooked 2) ribeye (2) was overcooked on one side and burnt in the other side. 3) Ribeye (3) little tough and the quality seems to be USDA SELECT which means lower quality beef 4) 3rd stake arrived as a medium it was suppose to be med well. They took it back and after 25 min we were informed that they overcooked it and they had to do it over again. Eventually they gave it TO US in box to take home. We were charged full price. The Positive was our waitress Tesse, she was excellent, service oriented and sadly very apologetic for all the mishaps even though the food was the problem NOT HER SERVICE. It was our second time. 1st time we went it was opening week but everything was good. It’s a shame because the ambiance is a “10” For a Total of $360.00 for 5 people including tip 20% and only 1 drink it’s NO Bueno!!!

Service was great! Very welcoming and professional staff. There was a birthday card on our table, waiting for me, because we noted it on the reservation. Reminded me of a nicer restaurant, in a bigger city.

We were seated by a person who put down her broom and directly picked up our menus… not an appetizing nor sanitary first impression. The service was good, the noise level was very high and our food was average. The grouper was over cooked and dry. The lobster crab bisque was very bland and had very small amounts of of lobster or crab meat. The rolls and spread were excellent! We have been here before and had very tasty steaks but after this experience I don’t think we will return.

Since this branch opened a few months ago, it has become one of our favorite places. It fell short during this lunch visit. My trout (a sadly small portion of allegedly four ounces) was delivered at room temperature. The accompanying baked potato had not been baked nearly long enough. It was nearly solid. I kept the trout, but requested a replacement potato. The server and a manager swiftly made it right, but these shortcomings really mustn’t continue.

Wonderful dining experience unlike any I have experienced in Tallahassee. The service was intelligent and on point. Two appetizers, two mains, and a dessert. All was fantastic.

Lots of good menu options. Some are very pricey but there are alternatives. The Cajun grouper was excellent. The side dishes are quite generous. The house salad was good but not remarkable. The homemade ice cream was delicious and the serving is enough for two people. Our service was excellent. Just the right amount of attention when we needed it. We were glad we were in a side room because it's quite noisy in the bar area.

The food is delicious but if the service does not improve, I will go elsewhere. Water never refilled, wrong food delivered, orders mixed up.
