   The Boom Boom Shrimp were fantastic. The Caesar salad was tasty. The filet was excellent. The Chilean sea bass was average. The brown rice pilaf was awful because there was too much “stuff” mixed into it, and I didn’t like the combination of flavors. Pilaf is usually much more neutral. Overall, it’s a nice place to dine, but I’d stick with the steak.

   In my opinion Connors steak house can rival any top steak house around. The service is always top notch. The steaks are always cooked just right. The bar always puts out a great drink. The price is a great value for the quality and quantity of the food.

   Honest opinion is that I won’t go back. My filet was good. The mashed potatoes and the creamed spinach were not to my liking at all. The coffee is served with milk, no cream. The crème brûlée was dried out. The German chocolate cake was good. Our server was lovely but service was slow overall. Dirty dishes left on table for way too long.

   I hate giving Connors a bad review, but Saturday night our dinner was a disaster. Out $46 steak was horrible, the French fries were cold and soggy. The chicken dish was cold as well as the mashed potatoes it sat on. The drinks were good. The calamari was excellent. Sorry for this review.

   Steaks were excellent and a good value. My wife received the best strawberry shotcake for her birthday and it was complimentary. A fine experience as a whole.
