Had a hankerin' for southern fried chicken but didn't want to go too far after the show at the Indiana Convention Center in Downtown Indy. The highly rated restaurants for fried chicken were at least an Uber ride away. Conner's was in walking distance and we grabber a reservation for 5:30. The show floor closed at 5:30, so we bugged out 15 minutes early. Don't tell anyone. The image of the fried chicken at Conner's looked awesome. I like it crispy. We were seated at a premium high-top by the panel of TV's in the bar and placed out order. Both of us ordered the fried chicken. Let me tell you, it was great!! Super crispy outside, and incredibly juicy inside. I also ordered a Wedge salad (my go-to for a new restaurant). I am kind of a wedge connoisseur. Tom got a Ceaser, which was just as awesome as my wedge. The surprise was that the plate was an entire half chicken. I ate every piece. If you are having an event at the Indy CC and have a taste for awesome fried chicken, definitely go to Conners, in the Marriott Downtown. Just across from the CC. Don't other with anywhere else. I am sure the rest of the food would be great too. Service was perfect. I'll go there from now on. when in Indy...

The food and atmosphere were great. The waitress was a disappointment. Very soft spoken, and really didn’t check on us and we had to continual track her down.

Really an unexpected treat. Had stopped for some drinks and we ended up staying for dinner. Fantastic service and the food was wonderful. The outdoor seating was perfect. Ayenna went out of her way to make our anniversary special

2nd time eating here on our trip. Had brunch and all of us got something different. Everything was delicious. Good portions, came out quickly from the kitchen and the service from Tony B and Manager Kimberly was amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough. Going back this afternoon before the Arizona Colts football game!!!

From the moment we walked in the staff made us feel welcome. Our server was fantastic. The food was good and came out quickly so we weren’t late to the game. Perfect location for before the game. Lots of parking available nearby. Easy to get in and out.

It's a nice atmosphere but the food was only okay. I got the Lump Crab Jalapeno Hushpuppies. There were plenty of them but I couldn't find the crab in them and the only dipping sauce appeared to be straight mayo. We got the fries and the orders were very small. I did like the Heirloom Tomato salad. One of our party got the Ceasar salad but again - not very big. It's expensive for what you get. I think they must have been short handed because our server was not around much. It took 15 minutes just to get a drink at one point.

New menu needs diversified. There is a lot of fish on the menu. A lot of the favorites are off the new menu and we were never offered to see a dessert menu. Ended up ordering an app and a side because none of the entrees looked appealing. Very disappointed since this is my go to when I’m in town.
