Overall, it was a nice experience. As others have noted, it was loud and there were times my date and I had a difficult time hearing one another. Service was OK. While the stafff did come check on us, there was long pauses in service and I was never asked if I wanted a second drink when my bottle was whisked away.

Very noisy, couldn't have a conversation. Limited menu. Food was adequate but way overpriced. Bread was outstanding. Overall, very overrated.

CT is a real gem, whether it's in NYC or in rural Connecticut. They have a great menu which seems to change weekly with whatever local ingredients are available. Their dishes are truly amazing--exceptionally well prepared, and well plated, too. They would befit a Michelin 2-star restaurant, but CT doesn't have any attitude. The manager (Todd) and servers are very down to earth, eager to explain anything and ready to give advice when asked. We have really enjoyed every one of our many dinners there. You will not be disappointed!

The ambience and the food were elegant and top-shelf, with vibrant, creative flavors. Every dish was excellent, except that the dessert selection was limited. No expense was spared, it seemed, with regard to the food quality, and this is reflected in the prices. The interior was beautifully and tastefully designed, but some of the two-person tables could be arranged differently so that both the diners could better appreciate this, rather than one simply facing a blank wall.

The food was very subpar. I couldn't believe the cost for what we got. Also the music did not seem to fit the atmosphere and was too loud.
