Community Table stands alone in Litchfield County as a restaurant with understated elegance, a cozy ambience and delicious food sourced locally. It's got a very lively bar and don't miss their signature martini.

Community Table remains the most imaginative, interesting restaurant in the area. What other restaurant has a forager on staff. Excellent service from Briana. If only the chairs were a little more comfortable...we ate every morsel.

My husband and I visited Community Table for the first time on Easter Sunday, 2017. Our meal was absolutely heavenly. Our waiter was attentive and knowledgeable, perfectly pairing wine to my appetizer and entree. He answered all my husband's question and gave us ample time to decide on our courses. We will remember this excellent meal for many years to come.

The food was wonderful. The staff helpful. Our reservation was for a mid April Friday at 9 which we pushed back to 8:45. (They serve to 10 on Fri/Sat) By 9:30 we were the only people in the dining room The staff was great offering us desert and coffee but it was very clear we were the last thing between them and the door. It may get better as summer progresses but if you want a relaxing meal now get in by 8:00

Fabulous experience all around. Highly recommend. We are from the Boston area, and the food at Community Table is better than most of the fine dining in Boston.

We had an excellent meal where everything served was delicious. We were big initial customers, but after the bar opened began to feel increasingly unwelcome. I have to say that this was a very quiet Friday night, so it was always to book a table last minute. If we could repeat our recent experience on a regular basis, we would be back as regular customers.

Dixie and I enjoyed our open table experience on Monday immensely. We plan to return in a few weeks for the late spring fare. Alison LePage

I couldn't love Community Table any more! The food is outstanding—truly one of the best Scandinavian restaurants I've ever dined in, including many in Scandinavia. The vibe inside is like an escape from America into Scandi cosmopolitanism. Cocktails are alone incredible. If you think potato chips and poached egg on Elk tar-tar is showing off, think again. It absolutely works. Whether it's a simple dish or some wild concoction like the formerly mentioned, the food is beyond delicious....it's a total experience.

Community Table never disappoints. From to appetizers to the main entrees and ultimately the desserts each course was better than the previous. The desserts were simply amazing. Our server was very personable, attentive and explained how each dish was made with precision. Even the servers who plated our desserts explained each item on the dish as they placed each one. This is definitely a restaurant not to be missed!!
