This is the best restaurant in Savannah. We went early, 5:30 ... and were able to take advantage of app special. It's fantastic. Service was outstanding, Chris was our waiter. We will definitely go again in the future. Loved the Pork Belly sliders, the Crab claws, the sourdough bread... For Entree... we had the Pineapple Situation/ Mahi. It's fabulous.. then hubby got the Ribeye..... A+ all around. Well done, Common! Thank you

We went for brunch on July 4th. The donut porkbelly was just ok as the donut tasted more like a cake. The Chicken sandwich and brisket were very good though.

Amazing service, Sam was phenomenal and so well versed in the food and wine menu, she’s also the som! Food was fantastic, we had the cornbread and short ribs (amazing!) and the chicken caprese entree, very good! Would definitely come back for dinner or brunch. Great spot…close to everything and very accommodating with food allergies.

Our first dinner of a 3-day holiday weekend in Savannah. Common is an established standby, and our meal had some definite highlights and lower lights. HIGHLIGHTS: (1) Terrific staff, pleasant greeting, very engaging, definitely know the menu. (2) Their riff on Oysters Rockefeller is utterly terrific. As is their bread service. (3) Entrees were substantial and very tasty; we had the salmon and the house-special Mahi Pineapple dish. The mahi was the best piece of fish I've had in a very long time (BUT...note to kitchen--the bottom of the fried rice was room-temp and bordering on cold--which was a disappointment). LOWLIGHTS: (1) The 'trust fall' cocktail. It's a good idea, but the guest should be given some minor parameter for what the evenings options might be. I ordered it--and was served a riff on a white grasshopper (e.g. sweet, minty and creamy)--totally NOT a good pairing with Oysters Rockefeller. It's a fun idea, but give the guest at least some 'expectation setting' (or do 2-3 options, e.g. sweet, liquor forward, or herbal). (2) The banana pudding dessert was...OK. An excellent caramel sauce, but had been clearly premade and simply yanked from the fridge and served. And (3) the bathroom was--hands-down--one of the dirtiest and smelliest and most unpleasant restaurant bathrooms I've been in over a very long time period. For a restaurant this caliber, it was embarrassing! Overall, a pleasant meal. And we would return to Common. But a few easy tweaks here and there would further elevate the meal and the experience. (Because we are STILL talking about those oysters!)

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Common last night. The Chef's Tasting Menu offered a wide variety of options to try, all of which were delicious. The most extensive wine list I have seen in a restaurant in quite some time, and what a smart idea to offer a selection of half-sized bottles. Great cocktails, too. Our server, Amelia, was outstanding; attentive to every detail. And what a nice touch to send us home with a little after dinner gift. Then, the icing on the delicious cupcake, was the nicely written thank you note in this morning's email. This place is a keeper and will become part of our regular Savannah rotation. A++ all the way around.

overall, the food is so bad that doesn’t worse. The value the fries as the side dish is so sorry to take the oyster is not as fresh as we expect. I don’t recommend people over here, but the service is pretty good.

An unforgettable dining experience at Common! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance and service at Common were exceptional. The real standout of the evening, though, was the short rib dish—absolutely divine. Perfectly braised, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and paired with rich, flavorful sides that brought the whole plate together beautifully. Every bite was comforting, elegant, and full of depth. This dish alone is reason enough to return! Highly recommend Common for anyone looking for a refined yet approachable dining experience in Savannah.
