Comedor blew us away. We had the Crudo, Tacos de Pescar, Bone Marrow Tacos, and Pescar Fundito—all were incredible. The flavors were bold and refined, and everything was beautifully executed. The margaritas were some of the best we've had. Easily one of Austin’s top spots—can’t wait to return.

The food is very good. There are many unique and interesting dishes that you don't find elsewhere. We only had a few of the items, and shared them. All were delicious. The chocolate "tamale" dessert was really good. Our service was also really good and everyone was polite and attentive to details. All in all a great place to dine and we will be back!

Unfortunately, the service as well as the quality of the food here has plummeted over the years. We asked for the dishes to be parsed out accordingly. That didn't happen. We ordered a salad only to be brought a salad that wasn't what we ordered and to be told the menu is out of date. Really? The server didn't know this and couldn't say anything? What is the manager doing about this? The fish was definitely overcooked and all of the dishes had way too many contradictory flavors and spices. I've dined here quite a few times over the years, and I can tell you I won't be back. There are many wonderful choices in Austin that are far superior to the service and food here.

The manager and staff are very nice however the food is not flavorful or tasty at all. I was shocked at how poor the food was. I would recommend Mexta, Bulevar or Verdad if you want good Mexican food. Again the staff was very nice and so was the manager.

Overall the food quality and table service were excellent. The chicken entrée was probably the tastiest chicken dish I’ve ever had and the accompanying wraps were a great addition. Only downside stopping a 5* for service was the food delivery. The sides came about 10 mins before the entrée and then my daughter’s steak arrived at least 10 minutes before my chicken. We essentially ate at different times which dampened the experience.
