Located on High Holborn, close to the British Museum, the restaurant is elegantly designed and filled with original Indian art and antique furniture including century old items made for Maharajas which take diners on a journey through Indian culture and history.

The menu reflects regional accents with a contemporary viewpoint. It is food that observes the established traditions of Indian cooking but breaks the rules a little by Executive Chef Sohan Bhandari. Our menu goes beyond a 1970’s “Curry”, beyond street food and into a world of real Indian flavours. Our signature dishes include our traditional lunch Tiffin, Khaati Rolls , Colonel Saab’s smoked lamb shank and figs poached in Assam tea cognac.

The bar is a great meeting place and afterwork destination serving signature house cocktails created to compliment the menu.

The place is stunning. Amazing decor and impressive opulence. The vibe is casual and lively.. it has a sociable, unstuffy ambience. Quite a groups few were here for after work dining, so there was - at times - boisterous atmosphere. The staff are friendly and service pretty good on the whole.. the only thing that spoiled it for us is that one of the kitchen staff sat next to our table watching a football match on their phone. That was extremely annoying, distracting and not what you expect at a fine dining venue. The food was delicious and unpretentious. The waiter was super helpful in recommending nice food. Decent, if somewhat pricey plonk. The facilities, like the rest of the venue, are fantastic. The whole restaurant is instagrammable, and yes there were people around us taking photos.
