Fabulous server, great food, cozy atmosphere! Can’t wait to return!!!!
Food was great and the service was attentive and speedy
The place is great for brunch. They even have options for kids. We met some friends and had some delicious food and drinks. I love the area.
Food was delicious. Everything was great. Just waiting almost an hour for our food was the only negative thing I can say. Everything else...Great.
It took almost an hour and a half to get two salads. Anything hot we ordered was lukewarm or cold
Great food and outstanding service for our party of SEVEN!
We sat outside on the patio which was gorgeous. Unfortunately our food wasn’t very warm when we got it. Our waitress didn’t come by our table very often so we couldn’t ask to warm it up without waiting another 20+ min. Food was pretty good even though it was cold and atmosphere seemed nice otherwise.
Food great as usual. Cocktails also delicious (the high cotton and bless your heart being favs with us) service was off this evening, however, Recommend the fried chicken and the beet salad
The food and drinks were very good and nicely presented except the shrimp and grits. The grits were room temperature. She sent it back and the new dish came back STILL at room temperature. She was afraid to send it back again. Seventeen dollars is too much to pay for cold food.
Reliably good food and service. Our go to place for an excellent meal. American menu with excellent fried chicken, seafood, biscuits, etc.
The food and ambiance always keeps me coming back.
I've been to Colleen's numerous times. Its always packed for obvious reasons and its food and service are always top notch.
Overall a decent brunch choice with easy options for kids. Somewhat small in terms of seating, but they also have outdoor space. Nothing particularly special, and we had to wait past our reservation time since they weren't quite prepared to seat us. Parking validation was nice
My son and his girlfriend. They enjoyed the meal.
I had a great experience at Colleen's. I reserved a table to have a business meeting and always weary of new places. It was perfect as i was able to discuss business and enjoy the best food ever. My client was very impressed as she had always wanted to try Colleen's. A Win..win
Great, affordable menu of Southern comfort food with some fresh, modern twists tempting to kids and adults alike! All served up in a bright, beautiful space with vintage appointments by a team of knowledgeable, courteous staff.
Excellent Fried chicken family style
Chef Brian was amazing. His food was perfect and even came out to our table to make sure everything was satisfying. He made the experience amazing on a special night
Made our reservation in OT ;-) arrived early, and we were promptly seated! We were near the door, but overall it's a bit loud, very busy restaurant - but for this visit, great rainy Sunday brunch atmosphere. High Cotton (Colleen's take on an old fashioned) and Bless Your Hearts around the table. We went straight to entrees, shrimp N grits!! The shrimp are grilled perfectly, the rub/seasoning is delicious. Our server was super friendly, perfectly attentive (not too much, not too little). ABsolutely will return for the drinks, food, and great service.
Far too noisy; the floor was super slippery (like very greasy) the waitresses had attitude and they kept getting our order wrong. Food was ok but not great. Disappointing ;-(
Delicious Fried Green Tomatoes and Shrimp and Grits!
Went there for a business lunch. Noise level was appropriate, music was fun, ambiance perfect. Great decor. Friendly and attentive staff. Food was excellent and well spaced out between appetizers and entrees. Will definitely be coming back for more!
The food is good. The service was fine. The restaurant is a bit loud as nothing is there to absorb the sound. I would go again. I ordered the eggs, hash browns and bacon. Nothing remarkable, but solidly good. Also got the biscuits which were also quite good. They serve them with a tomato jam that my friend really liked. It is a very solid brunch place and they take reservations!
I went for lunch for my bday...now we're going for one of my friends bday dinner! Bringing more family and friends! This place was awesome!
Colleen's is a quaint, family-friendly restaurant for some upscale down-home cooking. Everything is great and the staff is kind and attentive. They have a great bar with tasty cocktails and a great happy hour. If it's a beautiful day, check out the patio!
For the second time, service was poor, very slow, took 20 minutes to be told the ingredients for my cocktail were out, while others who were seated after us had there drinks, hostess offered to get us something else, not comp us for the confusion.
Very good bar staff with excellent suggestions. Lovely wait staff
Colleens Kitchen is a cute place with delicious southern food! All the dishes are amazing from the pimento cheese, fried zucchini to bacon wrapped dates. Yum! Today I had the steak and it was so delicious. I love their cocktails too. Best restaurant in Mueller hands down! The staff are so warm and welcoming. Love the vintage vibes as well. All around 5 stars!
The biscuits were good. The food was plain. The fried chicken was bland and my Cobb salad was boring.
I liked the place and my fish was delicious. I loved the booths, super comfortable
The slaw that came with the (quite dry) pork chop was way too sweet. Impossible to eat without a bit of pork chop.
Deviled eggs were nothing special.
The shrimp and grits was solid.
Chicharrones was solid.
Service felt like we were an afterthought.
Very friendly and courteous staff. Excellent food. The buttermilk fried chicken was the best and juiciest I had in Austin over many years. The burger was also excellent. We highly recommend the bartender's own creation: a superb hot toddy.
Very tasty fried chicken and Cole slaw
I really loved the chicken and waffles and the service was quite good
Service was friendly but slow. $3 for coffee that my server forgot then never refilled. Small, overpriced portions. Food was good.
We tried it on New Year’s Eve food was very average.
We had their pri
Great selection. Flavorful dishes and excellent wait staff!
BRUNCH IS ONLY AVAILABLE ON SUNDAY. The interior made me feel at home and comfortable. I was immediately seated at my reservation time. Parking validation available for the parking garage. Wait time for food and drinks was about 10-15 minutes. Pricing was reasonable.
The deviled egg filling was velvety but the egg was very stiff as if they were refrigerated overnight and not allowed to thaw out. (if that makes any sense). A crab or shrimp topper could have made a nice accompaniment with the eggs. The Little Biscuit (chicken) came slathered in a mayo that I initially requested to be on the side. The waitress quickly fixed the dish. I did not like the Mustard Seed Mayo. It was extremely tangy and added to the tangy pickles on the biscuit. The spicy honey could have balanced out the tangy taste but it was barely any on the biscuit. The biscuit was COLD! 😒The chicken was fried to perfection and had a GREAT crust but I was dark meat 😔. The House Punch was great but the cup is only a mere 8oz serving. Just order the Carafe.
