College graduation celebration
Never had a bad experience here. Our service was excellent. Also our French Dip sandwiches were delicious.
Catching up with a couple friends at one of our favorite Lexington spots. Food + service are always on point.
Great waiter who delivered excellent service
Took my mom out for a much needed "date". She loved the atmosphere I have spoken so highly about and was delighted to hear her favorite food (blackened tuna) was actually chef's special for seafood on the day. Had a mint julep for may day and an overall incredible time. Recommend again and again
Wonderful Anniversary dinner! I had a delicious melt-in-my-mouth filet and my wife had salmon, cooked and seasoned perfectly! Great service as usual!
Love Coles. Eat there as often as I can. Try the french dip and be sure to get the cookies and ice cream for desert.
Whether it’s everyday dining or a special occasion- everything is perfect- every time.
Cole's experience started out on a bad note. We were seated and waited 25 minutes before anyone even spoke to us. As we were ready to leave the manager came up and apologized and made things right. We understand that sometimes problems occur, but it's how those are handled that make the difference.
The food was very good. We were pleased with everything we ordered. The service (once we got started) was great.
The ambiance leaves a little to be desired. It looks alot like diner from 1985.
We put two four tops together to accommodate our group.
The wait staff was very rude and dismissive from start to finish. They told us they needed our tables by 7:45 (we arrived at 5:45). We explained that we were tired and happy to vacate very quickly. We were informed, rudely, that an 18% service charge would be added to our tab- we all happily tip 20%, always. We were on the receiving end of clearly visible eye rolls.
It took over an hour for our food to come out and some never came out. The wait staff clearly discussed our table with disdain in plain sight.
The waters were kept full. The manager was HIGHLY apologetic and made several discounts on our bill to account for the service, and brought (some) of the missing food after we’d declined to receive it when the whole table was done eating and it still hadn’t come out (a soup, a salad and an appetizer). Even after the manager was informed, the service was lacking until the end. Bills were brought out wrong and extremely delayed.
We are no strangers to eating in groups at restaurants, are very laid back and accommodating, easy and tip well but this was truly terrible service.
Coles never disappoints. From the excellent, attentive service to food that is absolutely amazing, Cole’s is well worth the time to savor a meal. We ate outside. There are heaters and the outside patio had a lovely ambiance, even as a temporary space. All servers wore masks. The food was perfectly cooked. A true gem in the Lexington restaurant scene.
Everything was absolutely amazing!!! And extra kudos to our waiter Joey! We will definitely be back!
My son wanted to have a Cole’s steak for his 10th birthday because he knows how much his dad and I love it there! As usual, Cole’s did not disappoint. The food was delicious (that Brie en croute should be a permanent fixture on the menu!!), and the service was outstanding as always. Cole’s is the best restaurant in Lexington!
Our steaks were cooked to perfection! The service was excellent! We will definitely be back! Bill W.
30th Birthday celebration with family!
Great find while in Lexington. The best wine list we found. Server was knowledgeable about the menu and wines. Manager greeted every table after dinner. Will be back every time we’re in Lexington.
This was our first visit to Cole's and we hope to return again soon! Service was fantastic. Food was excellent! My husband and I both ordered the beef shoulder tender over garlic mashed potatoes. . . probably one of the best cuts of beef I've eaten in a very long time! We also got the fresh baked cookies (I got the chocolate chip, hubby got the butterscotch) - melt in your mouth!! Very, very nice meal at a reasonable price!
Great meal and service. Pricey, but worth it. Brussels were awesome
Celebrated our anniversary at Coles 735 Main. Service was attentive and friendly, food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Definitely recommend this restaurant for any special occasion.
I had the duck and apricot meatballs and it was amazing! The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was very relaxed and intimate. It was my first time there but I'll go back for sure.
We love Coles. Wonderful food and professional service.
Food is too salty.
Amazing! Absolutely my definition of fine dining. Caring, attentive staff who did everything to make the experience wonderful; delectable food - my appetizer was just as good if not better than my entree, and my entree was superb; polite, comfortable environment, even on the patio. Top notch in every way!
Truly a terrific experience...every time!!!
Cocktails and food were delicious as always!!
One of the most enjoyably experiences in Lexington. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was classic, but the staff made it the best. Extremely professional and friendly.
Ricky was great!!
Service was phenomenal and the food was superb. We ate outside on a beautiful evening. The inside seemed just as pleasant when we checked in.
Coles is one of top 3 places I recommend for nice meal at a moderate price in Lexington. It is always a great experience and the portions are huge. I absolutely loved the duck meatballs.
Server was excellent in helping us decide on bourbons to try. Food was delicious. Definitely worth trying!!
Austin was a great waiter! He was very knowledgeable of the menu, specials and drinks!! Always have a great experience every time we dine here.
It took us two hours to eat very slow service, the food was very good.
The overall quality of the entrees did match the price.
Dining with Cole’s was a wonderful experience for my friends and myself. The food was excellent and our server was great. We will definitely be eating there again.
Our service was excellent which made the delicious meal so much more enjoyable. This is a favorite destination for friends and family.
Diane was excellent and we had a great time!
Always great food and selection. Service always first rate (thanks Caleb!)
Great food and service. There was a mix up with the order and the food that came to the table. It was quickly corrected and the food that came to the table late was automatically comped. Best steak in Lexington!
great food and great surroundings..
