   Excellent brunch in downtown St Pete!! 🌟 Food was delicious, service was great (Nick B) and prices were very reasonable. We’ll definitely be going back!

   We've been there.a few times. I ordered the omelet and my husband ordered the croque monsier. Then I said with the Food Server standing there do you want to split a salad. I had not seen the fine print below the header section that it came with a side salad. I didn't need both. It would have been nice if she made sure I realized vs trying to add to the table order. It was also WAY over dressed (my son got one for his entree with shrimp and it too was way overdressed) and the salad on the plate barely had dressing. So I would say I was disappointed on how things happened. Was just silly on our part as well as the server being unhelpful in terms of making us aware. Left a bad taste. It was also extremely loud music and no one was hardly in the restaurant.

   We really enjoyed our evening at Cognac. We had the foie gras and escargot for appetizers. Presentation was excellent with escargots served in the shell. The foie gras was the real melt in your mouth deal with a smooth buttery taste that was delicious. For main course we had the truite almadine and the grouper. Both were excellent. Service was outstanding, attentive but not hovering and very accommodating. We will definitely need back.

   Today was my second time at cognac and it was wonderful! There was four of us for Easter brunch and we all had a wonderful time. Started with the grilled asparagus, tomato soup, and caviar. I had wonderful ham snd cheese sandwich with egg. My boyfriend had Salmon Eggs Benedict which was wonderful. My daughter raved about her scallops and she is picky about them. Our server Juliet was knowledgeable and very good. We will definitely be back!

   Great experience. Had reservations for 4 but had 6 and they took care of it. Food was great and service was fantastic. Will be back!

    My husband and I went for Easter brunch. Very friendly and attentive staff. Unfortunately, our meal was on the table within 5 mins of ordering. We were literally in and out in 45 mins. Sometimes that is what people want- but being it was a holiday we would have enjoyed to linger for a bit. The restaurant was lovely but not full so there was no rush for the table. It seems to be the way these days- they want you in and out. Will try again- but hope they slow down a bit
