   We joined their Easter brunch and had some concerns about noise level, service and value for the cost and we were offered a complimentary brunch by Nicole which we attended today. Food was top quality. We ate in the quieter section to the left as you enter from Metcalfe and it was much easier to have a conversation with each other. Service was on point and we hope when we return again it will be the same. Thank you Nicole for making our experience a pleasurable one!

   Service was very good, awesome friendly staff. Food was good, oyster were not. Very nice decor, and library bar is cute in the lobby!

   It was a great experience. Our server Cedrick was A+. The scallops were done to perfection. Would definitely recommend!

   Not the best option for those with meat or seafood restrictions, for the time being.

   Nothing to write home about. Took 30 minutes for a server to take our order (we arrived after the lunch rush). The food was good, but a little over priced. I was expecting a full menu, but they were only serving brunch (on Monday…after 2 pm). If I went back it would be for their full menu as that was the entire reason I wanted to visit in the first place.

   Took the family there for mom‘s birthday brunch. We had been before and enjoyed it enough to go a second time. Started off pretty poorly since they sat us to a table next to a huge group that were being very loud when, the restaurant was only about a third full. Also, given that I identified it as being for a birthday, it would’ve been nice for them to plan to give us somewhat of a nicer table… I don’t necessarily expect special treatment for a birthday, but, many other restaurants I’ve been to will put in that effort which, is a nice gesture.  we had 1- the Niçoise salad ( most expensive item on the menu) which was overall pretty bland although the tuna itself was rather good. 2-  the burger from the kids menu was absolutely terrible. It didn’t have any of the items described in the menu (lettuce, tomato, ketchup) and when we asked for those, they said it was because they ran out and then gave us some leafy greens and cherry tomatoes… Not the same thing! 3- the ex Benedict were absolutely fantastic and 4- the breakfast poutine was OK… The potatoes were slightly undercooked and the overall flavor was slightly lacking. Service was friendly and polite, but, overall, nothing to write home about. I was astounded to watch one of the young staff members trying to clean up a mess after one of the servers dropped (and broke) a dish… he awkwardly tried to sweep the glass and the liquid at the same time which made no sense. Then shuffle around for an in order amount of time with rags under his feet to try and “mop “everything up all of this was happening while two other staff members were directing him… The whole process took over 10 minutes and was very strange to watch. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful and the foundations are there for a great spot but, it feels like standards have slipped since the last time we were there

    My husband and I very much enjoyed a recent lovely evening at Cocotte! The bistro itself is beautiful and transported us to either Montreal or Paris. The food was wonderfully novel and delicious, and the staff and their service spectacular. Merci!
