   I enjoyed a work lunch here. I wasn’t seated in a very good spot despite lots of other options I would have enjoyed more. I should have said something. The design of the space is lovely. The menu is right up my alley - French bistro (with a Canadian twist - definitely not traditional recipes) but not too heavy. I’ll be back to try more.

   The food and the service was very good. The coquille St Jacques is a a must and the chocolate dessert was fantastic. Would recommend.

   Food was excellent but the service was not so great and it was very, very loud. It was definitely not the experience I had hoped for.

   Overall good experience. It was a bit busy so the wait for a little long for food but it was acceptable. My steak was a bit overcooked but it was okay, and the restaurant offered a discount on that one item which was greatly appreciated.

   The food and service were impeccable! Our waitress was wonderful, helpful and very knowledgeable about everything, food and wine. BUT the noise was so bad we could not have a real conversation. This was a special dinner, a 60th birthday celebration but we were yelling at each other and having to repeat everything twice. I would NOT go back unless there was a quieter place to sit and there really is nowhere in the dining area I would want to sit. Sorry Cocotte, I would love to come back but just would not.

   We met at Cocotte Bistro after our Flora’s Walk Ottawa event and it was the perfect brunch spot. We chatted, had great service, great food and the server even brought us sweet pastries at the end. It was the perfect ending to our beautiful and inspirational event.
