Very authentic excellent food outside dining
The new location is open and welcoming. Food is excellent and fairly priced. A modest wine list and appropriate to the restaurant. Outstanding service. Casual and good.
Delicious every time! Highly recommend the spaghetti AOP!
Good service but the mussels were average at best. Food was a drop off from our last visit.
Family getting together. Pleasant evening to sit outside
Everything was just “okay”. Nothing bad but also nothing that makes us want to return.
A nice meal and reasonable for the area. Kind and efficient service.
Coco Pazzo Cafe is a great value. Quality Italian food at moderate price (for
The service and good were great!
Great food. Nice location. Great service. Highly recommend the octopus starter!
Excellent meal and service
Marco was a wonderful server and the risotto was magnificent. If it wasn’t closed today we would be back for more.
Food was good, service prompt. A tad expensive but in the post Covid era with inflation and being so close to Michigan Avenue probably commensurate with other restaurants.
We were pleased with all dishes and service. We enjoyed the night at Coco Pazzo Cafe.
The food was lovely. We were seated in a corner by the kitchen and it was uncomfortably warm.
Great food, great service from a great local restaurant!
Although we ate outside on a summer night, the interior is one of the most elegant and interesting in Chicago.
This has been one of our favorite restaurants for many many years. They moved from their St. Clair location to E. Ohio St. about four years ago. I’m sure Covid hit them hard, but they are open, although with a more limited menu. The pasta is great, the salads are great, the drinks are great, you really can’t go wrong. Marco, the manager, is so warm and welcoming. I’m hoping that business will pick up and the menu will expand again but we will continue to support it no matter what.
Excelente, buena atencion y comida
Salads were fresh. Very good but the veal was tough. The salmon was pretty good. Had to ask the waitstaff for Parmesan to go on the pasta entree and in general, they seemed a little put out or overwhelmed. Just not too friendly. They did let us sit a very long time and were kind to take our photos. In all, it was decent but from entree to enter, it was inconsistent.
First time here and really enjoyed it. Very close to our hotel in a nice part of downtown Chicago.
Fantastic! food and service was A+. Loved it.
I love Coco Pazzo main restaurant but love this cafe, too. Food is good, service is nice and the price is more affordable. It is another attractiveness that it's close to Michigan Avenue.
Choose Marco. Choose Coco Pazzo Cafe. Choose neighborhood community. Phenomenal option after all these years.
This is a consistently good restaurant- food and service.
Nice waiters. Ate on patio so felt safer! So it was a bit noisy and the music they play is more energetic then my tastes but when asked to turn it down they happily complied. Calamari is the best I have had!!!
Service was very good
Great food, service and ambience. Neighborhood gem.
College Girl Friends visit in Chicago. Love to bring friends and family to my favorite restaurant! Amazing food, wonderful service and beautiful restaurant! A must to eat at when you are in the city or have guests visiting!
We enjoyed a wonderful meal at Coco Pazzo on a busy Friday night. You cannot go wrong with any of the salads as a starter. I highly recommend the Swordfish Special, grilled swordfish on a bed of lentils, spinach and cherry tomatoes. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. Gelato or the Fruit Crostata make for a fine ending. William provided attentive service and patiently answered all of our questions about the menu.
Marco and William took excellent care of us. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and it was lovely. The Food is always amazing. And the outdoor seating is so nice. We really love this restaurant and all the people there. I always have the eggplant Parmesan and spaghetti aop. My husband has the mussels. I’ve also had the beet salad which was delicious. Consistently great food and service. You have to try it!!
The reason I did not give it 5 stars is their choice of desserts - limited and expensive for what you get. $12 for cannoli??
The Brussels sprouts, meatballs and tomato basil bruscetta were excellent, over- the- too good!
Quality food, the homemade gnocchi with the tomato sauce were very tasty! Highly recommend!
Decent food. Good service. Below average overall.
Love love love this gem of a place. Great food, interesting specials, kind and responsive staff, lovely neighborhood spot. So glad all has reopened.
Great service. The eggplant parm was a standout, plus the Brussels sprout salad.
We hadn’t been here in years, but our food and service were very good. We will return.
always superb food snd gracious reception . highly recommended
