Had excellent service and a very good value. Could accommodate a table for 10. The carne aside and jalepeno margaritas were hits.

We met my brother and his wife there, and lingered over lunch for three hours. The staff was very accommodating, the service was very good, and the food was well above average. Thanks Cocina Central.

It was a quiet weeknight and not many diners. Much to my surprise neither of the two servers had even heard of Open Table. What??? And there was no computer up front to check us in. If you're going to participate in Open Table, then Management and/or Owner needs to let the employees know about it! This fiasco aside, our food was good and there are other items on the menu we'd like to try another time. Had one of the fancy, more expensive, margaritas. Tasted good but ice took up most of the glass:( If they get the Open Table Reservations system figured out, I'm sure we'll return.

We shared shrimp burrito and grilled fish tacos. Both were very good, but the burrito was too spicy for my friend. Happy Hour prices for drinks and appetizers are VERY reasonable. Drinks menu confusing, and they have 6 additional beers that aren't on the menu.

This is an corporate operation without any warmth or atmosphere. The menu was predominately tacos. There were only two entrees. Chips and salsa were only offered with guacamole. The margaritas were on the small side. The service was a little slow given that the were only a few tables with customers. There are better Mexican in Mountain View. Nothing about the experience that would make us want to return.

After driving by Cocina about a hundred times my husband and I finally stopped by for dinner on a Friday night. What took us so long?! I'm personally angry at myself for waiting so long to try Cocina. Their food is fantastic! Free chips and salsa are a huge win. The chips are seasoned really well and the fresh homemade salsa is delicious. Just the right amount of heat that perfectly compliments the flavorful chips. We couldn't get enough. Classic margaritas are a perfect blend of tequila and lime. $5 at happy hour / $8 regular price. Drinks are definitely a bit over priced, so come at happy hour to save some $$. Taco plates range from $13 - $15 and come with 3 tacos plus a small side of rice and beans. Get this, they actually make their own tortillas! Hubby was impressed and really enjoyed his steak tacos. The rice and beans were especially good as well. I ordered the tofu salad $10 which was surprisingly big and flavorful. After some chips and 2 margaritas I could barely get through half of it. Overall I really enjoyed Cocina and will definitely be coming back for more!

Tried Cocina Central on recommendation of a co-worker. Menu consists of a few apps, soups, salads, tacos, other entrees and dessert. We tried the Baja fish, carnitas, tres Piggys and the tofu tacos. Corn tortillas are home made. Anything with carnitas in it is not to be missed. Great cocktail list too!
