Puesto que es un restaurante muy pequeño, Clipstone necesita su mesa de vuelta después de 1 hora y 30 minutos, dándole el tiempo suficiente para disfrutar de la comida que se ofrece. En caso de necesitar un poco más de tiempo o si celebra una ocasión especial, le sugerimos visitar el restaurante Portland justo a la vuelta de la esquina. Clipstone es un nuevo restaurante local ubicado en la esquina de la calle Clipstone en Fitzrovia. Ofrecemos el mismo enfoque en la cocina de alta calidad, el vino y el servicio como nuestra restaurante hermano Portland, pero en un ambiente más informal. El menú comienza con crudos y embutidos de la casa, así como platillos más pequeños de enfoque vegetariano. Los platillos principales y panes planos hechos en el horno de pizza (un vestigio del antiguo restaurante italiano que precedió al Clipstone) constituyen la segunda mitad del menú.

Outstanding! My first time at this gem and it won’t be my last! Delicious, fresh, seasonable dishes, plus warm, speedy, attentive service. Very impressed and highly recommend!

Wonderful and thoughtful service from the team, we felt well taken care of, which took some skill and finesse as we were the only diners at an outside table on this sunny late-April day. Imaginative and impeccable cooking. Good attention to seasonal ingredients. Cornish mackerel in a chorizo-infused broth was the highlight, everything else was delicious too. Exceptional coffee to finish. Overall, faultless. If only every restaurant in London was this good!

A lovely lunch, we had the lunch menu plus an entree and a couple of sides. The food was perfect, great presentation and fully flavourful with deliciousness. And the service was kind and friendly, very attentive and helpful.

My friend and I came here for a mid-week lunch. Service was warm and friendly and everything we ate (we chose from the set lunch menu) was delicious. Highlights were the sourdough bread (possibly the best I’ve ever eaten), chalk stream trout with pickled rhubarb and panna cotta with blood orange jelly. I eat at Clipstone several times a year and have always been very happy.

Absolutely happy to discover this new address for me. Interesting menu, delicious food with a nice presentation and originality. Thanks for all great staff and hospitality. ‘Seul Bémol ‘- in my view it’s a little bit expensive!

This is my third visit to Clipstone and it doesn’t disappoint. It always has an interesting menu and the food taste and presentation is excellent. The staff are friendly and the restaurant itself has a nice vibe and it set back enough so you can enjoy dining outside when the weather permits! I would highly recommend them.
