Puesto que es un restaurante muy pequeño, Clipstone necesita su mesa de vuelta después de 1 hora y 30 minutos, dándole el tiempo suficiente para disfrutar de la comida que se ofrece. En caso de necesitar un poco más de tiempo o si celebra una ocasión especial, le sugerimos visitar el restaurante Portland justo a la vuelta de la esquina. Clipstone es un nuevo restaurante local ubicado en la esquina de la calle Clipstone en Fitzrovia. Ofrecemos el mismo enfoque en la cocina de alta calidad, el vino y el servicio como nuestra restaurante hermano Portland, pero en un ambiente más informal. El menú comienza con crudos y embutidos de la casa, así como platillos más pequeños de enfoque vegetariano. Los platillos principales y panes planos hechos en el horno de pizza (un vestigio del antiguo restaurante italiano que precedió al Clipstone) constituyen la segunda mitad del menú.

We are regulars. We love Clipstone. On our last visit the food was as good as always, the staff excellent and in particular we were well looked after by Holly. She was very knowledgeable about both the food and wine and we were made to feel very welcome. Look forward to visiting again when next in town.

Service was very poor with the Server reaching across the table to clear dishes, interrupting the entire table, mood and conversation.

Nice lunch. Guest said Ragu was a bit oily. Wine list is expensive.

Overall lovely experience as always. Surprised me with a birthday card when i arrived even though i didn’t mention it had been my birthday recently. Very nice touch. Starters were outstanding especially the cauliflower hummus. My main was very disappointing though. The portion of chicken I was given was notably disproportionate to those around me who ordered the same. I had two tiny pieces of chicken breast that amounted to four small bites. Along with two inedible bones of some kind with no meat, just skin and gristle. Not something I’d expect for the price, especially after noticing tables near me had significantly more meat on their plates than mine. I’m a fan of consistency so this was a miss, but the rest of the meal was lovely.

Clipstone for me the best restaurant in the World. Greeted so fondly on arrival whether you are regulars or first timers. Food, drinks, service just perfect. From the croquettes, peas, pasta, desert and cheese everything was wonderful. Service with a smile and a real spark from Kat, Hollie, Pav and Shia! We will be back. You should too! Thanks DR as ever for spectacular company 🌻

We loved this place - clean, fresh, with a good vibe and fabulous food. Excellent value set menu, innovative roasts to be shared on a Sunday and very attentive service. We got there at 12.30 on a Sunday and by 1pm it was buzzing, in a good way. Young staff, visible chefs, exciting choices to eat and drink. Especially loved a choice of still or sparkling water at no extra cost. Rare these days.
