Loved it. Amazing tasting menu and service but loud and in a strip mall type of building with a basic design. Regardless, food was 10/10 and service was incredible. Probably the best meal I’ve had in San Antonio tbh.

We did the "Feed Me" dinner. It was a great experience with a highly skilled and informed waitstaff. The menu was fascinating. Half of our party was "non-adventurous" eaters who would never select the items on the menu. With "Feed Me," they were able to experiment and enjoy new foods, seasonings, and tastes. The pace of the meal was perfect as was the wine pairings.

We did a Feed Me Wine Pairing and had a total of 6 amazing courses. The food was great and Angela was very wonderful and knowledgeable. We definitely recommend Clementine and can't wait to come back.

Was very excited to try out Clem but was soon met with reality. Menu looks fun with unique dishes but then there is the “let us decide” chefs tasting for 88/person. This is where it took a turn for the worse. We felt the dishes were very one dimensional, lacking depth, didn’t come close to matching the value to what was presented. For $88 you’d expect each guest (especially in a party of 2) to have their own small plate- this is not the case. You get six small plates… disappointing. Our waiter was very kind, he seemed to know the dishes, wanted to help steer the experience with wine, love that. He seemed over extended maybe- a lady stepped in, older blonde woman; she lacked any sense of service, excitement, made us feel rushed, and was quite clumsy, fumbling with the wine, and 0 knowledge of the dishes. Look if you don’t want to serve a guest, or lack the compassion/excitement, maybe not choose a career in the service industry. This is one of the main reasons the value did not match the experience. Over all decent food- seemed to us that the chefs tasting was more of a utilization of anything left over to make a random dish vs. being especially curated out of what was “new and fresh” like was presented. Not our favorite here in San Antonio. 3/10.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your visit to Clementine. We value your insights, as they are essential for our continuous improvement. We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed the creativity of our menu and the kindness of your waiter. However, we are disappointed to learn that the Chef's Tasting experience did not meet your expectations. Your comments about the portion sizes and the overall value are especially important, and we will certainly take them into account as we evaluate our offerings. We also appreciate your feedback regarding the service. It is concerning to hear that your experience was impacted by another team member's approach. We aim to provide exceptional service, your observations will be reviewed with our staff.

First time at this restaurant and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Our table ordered the ‘feed me’ six course feature. Everything was so well organized and the multiple staff that came to serve our table were in sync on timing. The food was exceptional. We’ve been to quite a number of high end restaurants over the years but this one was very unique and was definitely worth experiencing. This will be one of our must stops when in the area.

Family was in town for my 40th birthday so we decided to do an early Mother’s Day. Made a reservation through OpenTable and emailed in advance about the feed me chef tasting option. We made sure to specify that we would need a red meat on the tasting if that was available. We got a reply that said no problem. From the beginning, it just seemed disorganized. Showed a few minutes early for our 8 PM reservation and we were told the reservation wasn’t until 830 and there was no place for us to wait and they would let us know when it was ready. Didn’t really specify how they would let us know. They called a few minutes later to say they made a mistake And they misheard the name. It’s weird because she repeated my name back to me. I get it. Everybody makes mistakes but I didn’t quite understand the fib. We sit down and the remainder of our party arrives about 10 minutes later. I wanted to already have a bottle of wine ordered, but our waiter hadn’t come by. We sat there for another 10 minutes Before I finally asked if we could order a bottle of wine. I was a little surprised because the review said the service was really good. After he bought out the wine, he then asked us if we were ready to order about the minutes later. We had been there 30m. This whole time we thought they were making our first course because we had already emailed an advance. We said no, we wanna do the feed me option And we mention the red meat. He said that we would have to add a steak on. This wasn’t discussed at all and I normally wouldn’t care but we did reach out in advance. Just kind of seem like they dropped the ball. Several courses we were having to wait for plates or silverware. Food was pretty good. Nothing really blew us away, but it was unique and well executed. It was my first time and I’m willing to give it another shot. Just my husband and I,but we definitely won’t do the feed me option. It ended up being about 200 a person and I’ve had better for that price point in San Antonio.

The menu changes often which is good because it offers choices. The soft shell crab is very good and so are the squash blossoms.

The food was amazing and more than I hoped for. We were in town for a conference and as a vegetarian who appreciates good restaurants I had done some research ahead of time. Reading about the talented husband wife duo and James Beard recognition was enough for me. I would say overall, for San Antonio, the dishes here were plant forward. There was a lot to choose from and each dish was unique without trying too hard. Every one had an incredible flavor profile. Thoughtful and fresh ingredients. I had a killer mocktail and the best rendition of a strawberry shortcake I have ever had. And we had great service as well. I would highly recommend going here. I took a 15 minute Uber ride and it was worth it. I would love to try the tasting menu if I had the opportunity to go back. 10/10
