Clark's Oyster Bar
Classic coastal cooking from the Texas Gulf to the Northeastern Seaboard will influence Clark's menu. A large portion of the concept is devoted to the oyster, cold bar, seafood, and caviar. We procure the freshest oysters from small harvesters around North America and serve cold seafood platters featuring super fresh daily specials.

Great food and service
Fantastic food, beautiful atmosphere, and my server had great recommendations!
Service and food great as usual! Grateful to have this reliable restaurant in our neighborhood.
Fantastic as everyone knows. We had oysters selected by the oyster bar and they were phenomenal.
Then the Crab Louis, my fave
Fantastic service outside with a friendly server and great Rose on a hot day.
Love the Clark’s experience whenever I visit Austin.
Incredible as always. Super fresh oysters, great and boozy cocktails, and the burger is my favorite in the city.
My favorite place to get fresh seafood in Austin. Always a destination when I visit.
Always enjoy Clark’s, but the kitchen was on top of its game this evening. Ambiance is rough due to Covid & having to set up in the parking lot. A great spot & meal.
Fabulous food, great service. We love Sydney!
Always a great dining experience!!
Open Table worked fine, however, I’m of the opinion that Clark’s prices for food and beverages are unreasonably high. I’ve noticed the same at Fresa’s, Perla’s and other M & M restaurants.
The food, atmosphere and service is always great!! Thank you for another enjoyable evening.
Birthday, lovely time with a lovely view abd delicious oysters!
We’ve been going to clark’s for years and have always loved i. we still love the food but this was the worst service we’ve experienced here. Our waiter was clearly more interested in the table on the street below us, and plopped our food in front of us without really checking on us. The runners were much for attentive than our waiter. Extremely disappointed and dissatisfied by our level of service. Food was wonderful as always but the service truly took away from our experience.
Frustrated with the reservation policy. Reserved a table 3 weeks in advance and wanted to sit outside. When we arrived, we were told outdoor seating is reserved for people who call the day of and that we had to sit inside. This makes no sense to me. If you make a reservation well in advance you are penalized and those who call the day of get priority. I love Clark’s; the food and the service is fantastic. I do think they should re-think their reservation policy and reward people who book in advance.
The cioppino, while a bit expensive, is the best I’ve ever had (and I’ve had it in San Francisco). The crab Louis was also excellent.
Celebrating husband birthday with friends
Fabulous as always though I do wish they would offer a french fry alternative to the haystack that has always been on their menu. Just so difficult to eat
Our server was great. The oysters, as always, served perfectly, high quality and delicious.
We love this restaurant but this time the burgers were too salty and seasoned.
Always a pleasure.
Finally got to go out for dinner and picked Clarks for the seafood. We shared the tower thing and it was great.
Good lobster roll and our server was easy going! Tried accommodating us to sit outside but since the weather has been cool af everyone wants to sit outside so call ahead.
The food, the drinks, the attention to detail and the menu with something for everyone- could find no fault!
Great food, great service. A little pricey but worth it
It was great! The place itself is aesthetically pleasing and the food was fantastic, but was a tad overpriced.
This was our anniversary dinner. My husband ordered the lobster roll but then we were told they were completely out. I ordered the crab Louis salad w/dressing on the side, when it was delivered they had put the dressing on but had forgotten to put the crab meat on it. The waitress took it back and they remade it correctly. Overall the food was good.
Wonderful outdoor dining!
Everything was amazing except the service. The server barely acknowledged us and came around the table maybe 4 times during a 2hr span on a near 400 tab. Perhaps had a long night before but still no excuse.
Perfect day .. oysters spot in.. best burger in town..
Clark’s is consistently good. A bit expensive, but they use great ingredients and have attentive service.
If I could go to Clark’s 5 day’s a week, I would. Hands down, the most consistent, delicious restaurant in Austin. Yes, a little pricey but 1000% worth it!!! Over the years, I’ve been to Clark’s maybe 100 times, bring on 100 more!!!
Two hours to eat dinner.
Server forgot our side dishes. Team service concept is a disaster because most of the team don’t know the table and the order. Cocktails take 15 minutes.
The restaurant was nit that busy but the servers spent most of their time visiting with each other or other guests who they seemed to know.
Main course was served to three of us at once. The fourth had to wait five minutes to get his order.
This exchange was a metaphor for the dining experience.
Me: “Do you have a pepper mill for my salad?”
Server: “No because of Covid, but we can bring you some pepper.”
Me:”That would be great, please bring me some pepper.”
I am still waiting....
Fantastic as always. Clark's is a gem. It never disappoints.
Clark’s never disappoints !
Enjoyed the oysters. The snapper was good. But the prices are too high. Drinks are overpriced. Snapper was supposed to be 6 oz - seemed smaller but expensive. Good food but needs to be a very special occasion or when someone else is paying for me to return.
Delicious food, casual service, a bit loud inside. Mussels, kale and shrimp toast all yummy.
Great food but sitting outside in 32 degree weather when there were empty tables(social distanced) was disappointing. To spend that kind of money and freeze wasn’t fun.
Great spot for happy hour. Their happy hour special is great to get friends together and have nice martinis. Their burger has gotten a little smaller, but still just as delicious as it has always been.
