Clark's Oyster Bar
Classic coastal cooking from the Texas Gulf to the Northeastern Seaboard will influence Clark's menu. A large portion of the concept is devoted to the oyster, cold bar, seafood, and caviar. We procure the freshest oysters from small harvesters around North America and serve cold seafood platters featuring super fresh daily specials.

Its so good. Just really wish the fries were thicker!
Server was great, food was fantastic. Book early, but worth every penny.
Great as always!!
Everything was delicious
Always great people watching, great location, excellent service and amazing food. Always a top pick for day date.
Always a great experience! Food, setting, service, cocktails. Favorite place in Austin!
Delicious oysters, martinis, and burger at HH. Covid-safe and heating lamps for the chill. Will be back!
We love Clarks. The food is consistently great. We typically get a dish or two to have the next day as well.
Awesome, fresh food!
Was a good evening, just seems a bit too pricey on simple meals sometimes.
I understand seafood can be expensive but a basic cheeseburger seems over priced
Steak Diane, Burger, Lobster Roll, Dozen Oysters, everything was great including the service.
Wonderful lunch experience with amazing and insightful service!
Service was slow. Wasn’t clear who our server was and they also never asked are we ready to order. Food was great and ambiance but service was not.
They tried to cancel us the reservation 4 hours before on New Years eve
Clarks is my favorite restaurant in Austin. It’s always the best!
Love Clark’s, the oysters were amazing. We were seated way after our reservation time which was unfortunate but the food was great.
Excellent!!
Service was very good, food was good, albeit $32 for a lobster roll is a little high, but it was very good.
Having to sit outside on 6th street is just a little noisy, but that’s no fault of the restaurant. I’m glad they’re able to stay open and deliver great food.
Clark's Oyster Bar was as yummily predictable as always. The food is delicious, the drinks and wine are excellent, and the service is attentively snappy (but not overly attentive - which is good). It's one of our favorite places and they have never failed to deliver on a relaxing, fully enjoyable experience.
Loved the brunch we had. We're big seafood fans and were very pleased with our meals. Our waiter was very helpful and personable. Definitely will go back there when we get back to Austin, again!
We loved our experience, the service, food, drinks and ambiance. We had friends in town and enjoyed the variety of foods we tried. The New Brunswick Oysters were our favorite, along with the crudo plate - hubba hubba! The rosemary frites were awesome, hard to stop eating them and the octopus great. The only thing we didn't love was the tartare which had too much tabasco in it. The martinis were spot on as well. Can't wait to go back!
The food was so delicious - rich and flavorful. Felt safe due to distancing. A very pleasant Saturday brunch.
Amazing as usual! One of our absolute favorite places to dine.
We were warned at 5.45 that we had until 7 as there was another reservation. We had a reservation at 4:45. We received an order for one soup when we did not order. We had mentioned wanting soup but were trying to enjoy a progressive meal. Not fun. We had to ask for plates, crackers for oysters, etc... the guests outside seem to be enjoying a happy hour progressive meal. Not same case inside. Not sure Clark’s understands how to cater to the real happy hour crowd looking for a nice slow but fun meal experience. Sit outside if you want to enjoy and perhaps truly savor the food and drink, which was delicious. If you want “color” probably not the place to go. Definitely skip the happy hour...not that happy. Glad our friend did not join after all...
Wish they would take reservations by phone too. It caused some confusion when I needed to moderate something . The food and service once we were there was excellent.
Our server was super sweet and the food was delicious. We will definitely go back again. It was our first time going and we can’t believe it took us this long to visit with it being right down the street from us.
Love eating here...has been since they first opened.
The outside music is too loud if you’re sitting next to the building.
Clark's is hands-down one of Austin's best and never disappoints. Will always be a favorite from service, to food and our favorite - half-price bottles on the weekend!
Sat outside with our dog. The weather was perfect and everyone was so friendly and the food was very good!
Food is amazing.
Always a great experience!! Thank you!!
Best Oysters and Martinis. The happy hour price was a steal for the quality
Great food and very attentive staff! The Clam chowder and Lobster roll was onolicious!
Always love it! First time sitting outside and it was lovely. Also, a milestone of my son first trying of oysters and he is a fan!
Loved our dinner. Seafood was fresh and delicious. Looking forward to many dinners at Clark’s.
Lovely outdoor brunch dining with Mom. Great service and tasty oysters.
Birthday. Sun was annoying & we got hot
In the age of Covid, Clark’s has risen to the occasion to create a lovely, almost normal, dining experience. Great food as always and congenial service. It is hard to find any dining that reaches the level of celebratory these days but Clark’s met the mark. The four of us felt safe and well cared for and had a magnificent happy, culinary adventure that has been long missed.
Food was exceptional
We had an excellent meal at Clark's but we were sat off to the side of the restaurant by the garbage can and had to swat flys away from our meal the entire time. We believe our waitress forgot about us as well as during the 2 hours we were there she only came by the table 3 times - and the 3rd time we had to ask a member of the staff who was using the garbage can by our table to grab her so we could get our check. We wanted to order more wine and dessert but after sitting at our table for 20 minutes without anyone coming by, we got frustrated and decided to get more drinks and dessert elsewhere. It's a shame because the food we had was delightful, but the service was abysmal.
