Clark's Oyster Bar Aspen
Great food and setting
Great food and great staff.
Fun bar, great service and the food was amazing!!!! A little overpriced but left very pleased with the food.
The food, service, and ambience were all fantastic. The services provided by the professional management and staff are the main reasons that we keep coming back. The old world elegance is a rare thing, and we value their focus to make sure that everything about the dining experience is excellent. I highly recomend this restaurant.
The entire experience was amazing. We had fast delivery of hot foods and the menu selection was outstanding. Loved the Mussels, Oysters and the Linquine & Clams!!!
The food is tasty but are you serious that for $38 we only get four rather small scallops? The steak tartar was much more reasonably priced, almost entree size, at $18. Our waitress, however, was very attentive and lovely. I was surprised to read some of the bad service stories here because that was the one thing they did very well.
The Colorado Rockies is not the place you would expect to go for great shellfish but Aspen is not every place and Clark’s is the place to splurge on oysters from both coasts and the lobster roll made with a whole Maine lobster. Wash it down with beer, wine or champagne and you have the perfect end to a day of skiing in Aspen.
This is my favorite restaurant in Aspen! Great food, great ambiance.
The food was amazing. Everything from the complimentary bread, the Texas chili and my entree of the sea bass, was wonderful. The restaurant was an adorable house and had a wonderful feel to it. So much fun. Definitely going again!
Everything we ordered was delicious.
They have the best Lobster roll I have ever had!
The Som was very knowledgeable. The atmosphere is very Cape Cod.
Looking forward to another visit.
The food and service was absolutely outstanding! Thank you Rene and chef Josh for the amazing time! I will definitely be back again soon! Must try the cioppino - delishhh!
Wonderful. Also had a lively server Renee
Great atmosphere, wonderful service & food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommended!
I had the most delicious Clam Linguine, every bite was heaven. Everyone loved their meal and the 18 oysters we started with were wonderful. Highly recommend
Serves great cocktails in a friendly ambiance in Aspen.
Apres ski it was the best ... we will return!
Not cheap but Great food and great service. Be sure to make a reservation!
Sparking fun evening with great drinks and delicious seafood!
Best new aspen restaurant !!!
Great food! Great renovation of a locals spot
Wonderful pre-Valentine’s dinner celebration.
Love this new restaurant in Aspen. We had oysters, the crudo, the mussels and clams, the linguini and clams. Everything was perfect. Will eat there again.
Res Snapper ceviche was great as were the mussels. Oh, and the sourdough bread....wow! We’re not bread eaters most of the time but this bread is totally worthy!! Great new, little place!
Gem! Marvelous! Delicious! We had a wonderful dinner and the service and ambiance were spot on! We loved this place!!
Wonderful food! Very fresh! The Prince Edward oysters were absolutely wonderful! Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the different varieties of oysters and was very accommodating to special requests! Will make it a regular stop when in aspen!
The food was OK. The tables are really close together. Luckily the close guest were very nice to talk with. Staff was helpful and very nice. Definitely not NOLA quality seafood.
Great ambiance! Delicious food at a reasonable price! Strongly recommend it.
Great atmosphere, food and service. Expensive, but not unlike other restaurants in Aspen. One of my favorite spots in town.
The seafood is so fresh!
I will come back!
Clark's was everything we were told it was! Fabulous food, and the staff, especially our lovely and attentive German waitress, was superb! Can't wait to go back!
We are locals and now Clark’s is our new favorite restaurant. The service was impeccable and the food was amazing. Love the atmosphere, very warm but upscale. The menu offers much more than oysters. Thank you Clark’s!
Love this place. It is fresh and fun. Started dining here in Austin Texas and was so happy it opened in aspen. A perfect fit for the low key cool you want in aspen.
Fantastic seafood. Each dish was generous and tasted great. Somewhat reasonable prices for Aspen.
My fiance, his parents and I came here on New Years Eve day for lunch and it was amazing. You need to make a reservation ahead of time since its so popular. The Oysters are delicious, cocktails are awesome, and the atmosphere was cozy, warm, and good people watching.
This was my second visit to Clark's and it did not disappoint! We had a terrific server who guided us to a perfect meal. Delicious, well prepared food. They did a fabulous job transforming Annie's to a completely new airy lighter space. Will go back for sure!
We booked a table for 2 at 5:30 roughly a week in advance as this was a special birthday dinner celebration. We had an event at 7:30, so we were on a schedule.
We requested at quiet table away from large parties. When we arrived we were shown to our 2 top table right in the middle of the restaurant. There were several other empty 2 top tables so we asked about them and were promptly told those were reserved. (We would have been happy to sit at one of those other two tops.) We were given absolutely no choice of tables. It was the one they had reserved for us without reading our request or nothing.
We told the manager that this was a special occasion and he said that he had not read the note since we booked it on Open Table-but he could do nothing for us. He told us he wished he could do something for us. We left to salvage the rest of our special evening since the manager certainly could have done something for us- but simply chose not to- nor did he take any responsibility for not noting our request. Instead, he didn’t seem the least bit concerned. We will never go back which is unfortunate since we are locals.
Food was fabulous
Amazing food, service and atmosphere
The best, as always!
Clark's has amazing food. The Oysters are always fresh and delicious with great suggestions from staff, if needed. While it isn't cheap, it is worth every penny. I haven't had a single thing I didn't love, and "the cherry on top" is the butterscotch pot de creme. I highly recommend this restaurant if you love great quality and delicious seafood.
