Claim Jumper - La Mesa
My burger was flavorless besides being salty and greasy. Manager would not accept claim jumper gift card. Will not be turning or referring anyone.
Understanding that we just opened up inside dining, claim jumper was not prepared for a Saturday open rush. With a reservation we were sat in in the bar. No problem, however our server was also the restaurant’s bartender. She was understandably overworked. It took 20 min to order, another 15 min to get drinks, another 30 min to get food. We also ordered food to go, in never got placed, so another 40 min waiting for check and to go order.
So not a great experience.
We were pleased with the food and the service! Will not hesitate to return!
Every order came our wrong. My son ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken and didn't get the spicy aioli, My husband ordered the Tri Tip Prospector that didn't come sauced. Just onions and mushrooms. I ordered a hamburger, got a cheese burger and the replacement didn't come with pickles. Bless our server for trying to make things right by bringing a slice of motherlode cake but my son and husband are diabetics so we couldn't eat it. Over all food tasted okay but wasn't what was expected. Maybe they are still getting up to speed due to COVID but we were left feeling like the experience was mediocre.
It was good but noisy and maybe do to comeback from COVID a little slow. And at the entrance we were waiting for at least 4 minutes when 4 ladies were there talking away without even a Hello please wait ....
My daughter ordered lobster Mac is was so terrible
Poor quality overcooked steak and vegetables. Nacho cheese sauce in loaded baked potato.

I was using a gift card they sent me after a horrible experience on Thanksgiving. We were seated promptly, our waitress Kathy was super fun and friendly. Food came quickly and was delicious.
We arrived early and were seated almost immediately. The service was great and the food was delicious. We will definately be returning to eat here again!
My family and i had great food and everything. The music was great and i recognized some of it. I’d say if you are looking for a great restaurant to dine at for lunch or dinner, this is the place to go. You can even look at their menu on line before you go.

Great place to eat not a bad price. But some of there sauces can be a little heavy. They took away my fav soup the French Onion that's a bummer.

Wait staff was very attentive. Place was pretty noisy; but it is that kind of place. Corporate has an ingenious way of raising prices without reprinting the menu, a small sign at the host station: “Please note, a 3% surcharge will be added to each guest check to enable us to meet increasing costs.” Won’t eat there again.
Due Pandemic prices have gone up and also a 3% service charge is now added. Overall food was good and great service.

We had gone there for happy hour but I was disappointed in the small selection of items. Our waitress was very nice...and I do understand with the pandemic that things have changed. I wanted to go to the Brigantine but they were all booked. I love the Brigantine as it has lots of seafood choices..

The hostess was very accommodating. We ran late and she moved our reservation back, when I called. I was impressed with how smoothly things were running, with the recent reopening. Employees were working hard and being pleasant..
This is my Aunt's favorite place and we were so happy it is open for indoor seating again. The waiter was very friendly and the service was great. The food is always good and we enjoyed being able to get together again. We will definitely return.
The food was ok , the lemonade was pretty bad and didn’t taste good . We got hot wings which taste descent but where luke warm . The steak was well cooked and had a good flavor but the Mac and cheese was lacking flavor and was super water like soup . We both order baked potatoes which we didn’t get with our food and the server said it will be 2 minutes but it took more like 15 minutes . Overall it was ok .
It was terrible. I will never go there again. We arrived at 6:45. Let around 8pm hungry because all the food had some kind of problem(mostly cold) and was being remade or wasn't put in. Even the kids cheeseburger wasn't out within that time. I offered to pay for whatever I just wanted to leave they let us go without even paying for our drinks because they knew it was that bad.
It was just great to be able to get out together for a small date night for Valentine’s Day. We had a great time.

Restaurant’s should be opened During COVID just as Groceries, they are essential since provide food. fortunately Claim Jumper was one of few offering dining indoors with in guidelines.
Our waitress was so nice. The food was great! The chocolate cake was amazing!!!!!! Please go give them your business!!!
I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the "patio" (aka parking lot) dining was. The tables were nicely spaced and the chairs were comfortable. But the quality of the food and service was outstanding. A friend and I were celebrating her birthday and had a wonderful meal.

I almost never complain about my food but this place is garbage. My steak was grossly undercooked and the rest of my food was room temperature. Hopefully Covid will shut this place down so no one has to suffer through a meal like I had.
Everything was great, food, service, and atmosphere. Did notice that they don’t bring bread to table. But was offered some garlic bread from another waiter and of course we miss the salad bar. We did order steaks but the food seemed to be less portions.
All in all it was very good.
