A great location to watch OU-Texas. Staff was very accommodating and made it a fun atmosphere. Excellent food as always plus first-rate service. Took care of us throughout the game.
I reserved a table for the Cowboys game and was told on the open table there was only three tables left when I got there earlier than what I wanted to the whole place was empty except for one table. So naturally I was unsatisfied with that considering I could’ve gotten there much later to watch the game. Our server had no knowledge of what he was doing never told us his name. He didn’t know what drinks he was serving forgot many things that we had asked for. Also you guys have a TV going on with its live coverage of the game when I asked the manager to turn it off she replied it’s Jerry Jones‘s TV and couldn’t turn it off. Other people asked to turn it off too. So I will naturally won’t be back during a Cowboys game unfortunately. She didn’t seem at all apologetic all she said was she couldn’t touch the TV several people were unhappy with that not just me you might want to look into that and maybe train your servers better.
We went for the German Oktoberfest special menu which they didn’t have on the menu when we arrived and our server never heard of it and had to ask multiple people. The food was ok. The spatzele was lacking spatzele and had way too much cheese. We also didn’t realize it was a main with pork so we ordered 2 which we could have easily shared. It’s traditionally served as a side with the Schnitzel. The schnitzel wasn’t bad, didn’t eat it on the bun, would have been better paired with a side of spatzele.
They changed the fish and chips from 3 yummy small pieces to 2 large dry pieces. It was our go to place for fish so we are now rethinking that. Other food was good.
Loved the pork sandwich. Service was well managed
Food quality wasn't great. Service was excellent. Lots of TVs to watch sports.
Food and drinks were good wish their were a few more healthier meat options for the brunch menu.
First time going. Really enjoyed the drinks and food and surroundings.
Everything was great the 2nd drink took a little too long but really ok
Slow service , bar needs help
We went for restaurant week menu. The menu was a three courses for $39. The quantity of food in each course was very large. We were shocked how much food was on the table. The food was very tasty. The service, unfortunately, was not good. The waiter was a sweet young kid who had his second day on the floor. As you can imagine, it did not go well. He was very slow, not paying attention to the table. Never cleared dishes and his timing was off. We received the first course with the second course. No time in between courses. It took over ten minutes for him to come back to table to get our credit cards to pay. I was saddened he did not have a trainer to help him through his first days. They need to train and support their waiters so the restaurant can be successful.
The food was pretty good, but over priced. Our waitress was really nice, the hosting team seemed to lack direction. As while it felt like there was lack of leadership or training all round. The cost for what you get is way over priced. Go across the street to neighborhood services if you wan to drop that kind of money on food.
My wife and I sat on the first floor and decided to order or food to go because of the two to four flies that were making laps close to our table. Despite the take out request, the server still brought out two of the three items for us to eat now. We couldn't understand the confusion. At home, we enjoyed the chili and salmon.
We hadn’t been to city works in awhile and looked forward to being back! We were seated right away and our waitress checked in with us on drinks. All went pretty good with the drinks - beer was returned due “warm” but next beer was good. The pretzel bites and Buffalo chix dip didn’t disappoint! We ordered our meals, two ordered from the restaurant week menu and things got a bit squirrelly with those meals b/c everything pretty much came out at once - starter, immediately followed by dinner. The desserts took awhile (we think the waitress forgot us). But the wait was worth it the cookie and peanut butter pie were tasty. Overall, good experience but nothing stood out for me to run back for. They were busy and seemed to be short staffed like many places these days. Be patient and just enjoy your time.
Good food! Great place!!
This place is horribly understaffed. It took 30 minutes to get a beer, once we finally ordered our food, 35 minutes later after inquiring where our food was, we found out the order has never been submitted.
Great smoked wings
The food was great and the waiter was excellent! He was polite and did a good job checking in without over-interrupting.
The queso was delicious and a perfect compliment to the chips. Fries were nicely salted and the BBQ pork tacos were great.
I paid $16 for a shrimp appetizer that had 5 shrimp. My side salad was maybe 1/2 a cup of shredded lettuce. The food was edible but just barely. I won't be going back.
I realize with current labor issues it’s hard for many restaurants, however our waiter was really not with it and it’s not because he had too many tables. Drink order and food orders were wrong, no silverware until long after food was served. Unfortunately I can’t recommend this restaurant at this time.
The service was not good and the shrimp and fish was over cooked.
Had a really good experience last night. The food was quite tasty and we were there for Music Bingo which was a lot of fun. Wait staff was super. Definitely a recommend.
Amazing like always ! That pork chop is to die for ! Our server was very kind as well! Food was kind of spicy but still good
Really delicious food. Husband had the BBQ platter and I had the cheese burger. Great atmosphere and super wait staff. Definitely will go enjoy another evening there in the future.
It was a Friday night and this bar/ eatery wasn’t even full. The food just owner good. Atmosphere fine , service fine .. but the food is just “eh” dried chicken sandwiches, cauliflower appetizer filled will mostly peppers .. Brussels sprouts very “hard” fried cheese curds would have been an original app. But it was just bland.
Date night pretzel bites were good and not filling allowing to enjoy. Big portions but still pricey. Could have had less and less $. David was a wonderful server. Easy going and attentive. Drinks could have l7sted more cocktails but seems beer oriented. Wonderful peanut butter pie
Awesome please to go with clean bathrooms and great views on 2nd floor.
Specifically planned a date night for the music bingo and was not disappointed. The food was hot and yummy and the drinks were cold. The crowd was fun and energetic and the bingo was a real treat. Will definitely do this again.
I like the setup and our sever, Shaun, was very professional and attentive. We were a party of four; Mac & Cheese and the Chicken Sandwich (fried) were good. I had the fish taco, which was a mistake. It was tasteless! The fish was very dry and the fries, not crispy, almost too old to have been served to us. We did have appetizers and I would say, stick with the fried pickles. Everything else, not worth it.
Great service! Great brunch!
Service was slow. Not kid friendly. Very loud. Fried pickles were tasteless.
We were seated and greeted, then it took over 25 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered an appetizer at the same time as drinks and after over an hour we walked out. Then the lady had the audacity to act like she didn’t know why we were upset.
We walked across the street and had Sushi Marquee and it was exceptional just as always.
We had a rowdy group of 4 toddlers and 8 adults. They accommodated us so well and our waitress was very patient and understanding. Service was great, as was the food.
Great place to eat. Good food and staff was very friendly.
The food was goo, but very noisy. I would recommend, but not somewhere to go and have an easy conversation.
Filet mignon sliders were overcooked (medium rare) and service was spotty. Good beer selection but otherwise overpriced.
Excellent food, good atmosphere, reasonably priced
