We were back for the second time and it was just as good as the first time. We definitely found a place we love and will be returning.
Loved sitting on the deck on an autumn evening with warm temperatures. Our waiter, Mike, was wonderful! We began with the appetizer, the braised short rib arancini and they were superb, followed by sharing a salad of grilled Romaine that was tasty especially with the Brie and cranberries served on it. My filet mignon was perfectly prepared according to my request and accompanied by double vegetables, both root and roasted. My husband once again enjoyed the blackened swordfish entree served on a bed of lentils and brussels sprouts. Our last course which we once again shared, the piece de resistance was definitely the dessert - a very large dark chocolate brownie served with a scoop of cappuccino ice cream, toasted walnuts, and a drizzle of caramel.
This was our fourth visit and we have never been disappointed by the food and service! Calamari and broiled clams were a great starter and the salmon and pork loin were excellent.
The pace of the meal was a little slow with lots of between drinks, apps, and entrees but we didn’t mind because it is a nice atmosphere in the main dining room.
I might suggest a more reasonable portion for the oysters. They were delicious, but only two. Compared with a generous portion of calamari it seemed kind of laughable to see only two tiny oysters on a plate!
We will definitely return. One of the few nice fine dining restaurants in the are we can go to for fine dining that’s not crowded or noisy.
My husband and I was unaware it was restaurant week but did wind up ordering off the restaurant week menu. We both got the salmon which was cooked perfectly. It had a basil pesto sauce, red potatoes and a corn salsa. It was very flavorful and the portion was on the large side. I also had the arugula date walnut and Gorgonzola salad, which was very good, Both dishes were something I would not put together myself and what I considered a treat. Our waiter was great, very attentive and his timing was perfect. We definitely will continue to make Circe one of our restaurant destinations.
The food was excellent the waitstaff was awesome , we were seated to close to the bar for my liking couple of loud people but once they left it was very nice .. a bit pricey but I’ll definitely be back for the food !!!!! Nice place

Food was delicious and atmosphere nice with view of golf course. Service was great, the only glitch was it took the wait person several tries to finally get our “separate couples checks” correct. (We were only 2 couples and told the person at the outset). Unacceptable In this day and age with the use of computers. Will definitely go back though.
Our first visit to Circe in East Greenwich most definitely will not be our last! This will now be our go-to in East Greenwich for a cocktail and bite to eat after weekend grocery shopping. We visited during Restaurant Week and were surprised and pleased to find ourselves stymied by the prix fixe options — there were at least two in each course that each of us wanted to select, which we find is rarely the case with the Restaurant Week offerings at other establishments. Our server Mike was very friendly, relaxed, conversational (but not too much so) and knowledgable. And I appreciated that he actually wrote down our food order. That is much more comforting to the restaurant patron than hoping the server remembers all 10 items we ordered at one time! The food was outstanding… the deviled eggs with just the right heat in the beet slaw, the waygu tacos and the calamari, which had just the right kind of coating and crispiness… the braised short rib (with delicious risotto), veal parmesan and pork tenderloin special… and the generous portions of lemon blueberry mascarpone cake, chocolate cake and tiramisu. Nice cocktails offering as well! Looking forward to our next visit.
One of the best meals ever. Husband got the lobster ravioli and said they were the best he ever had. The other couple had the braise beef with risotto, outstanding and I had the salmon with corn salsa. Let’s just say nothing was left on anyone’s plates.

This visit was during restaurant week and wow, did we enjoy that! Carlene was our wonderful server who made the evening very enjoyable. Each member of our small group began with the excellent Fig salad with the arugula, gorgonzola cheese, candied walnuts and extra virgin olive oil. I hope they add this one to their regular menu as it was very tasty. From there to our entrees of perfectly prepared filet medallions (2) served with cherry peppers, which we omitted, roasted vegetables (carrots and zucchini) all served on a bed of mashed potatoes. The three of us loved it! One other dining member had rave reviews for the apple cider glazed pork loin which was plated with a root vegetable hash and a cider demi-glaze! His wife tasted that and the rave reviews did in fact continue. We waited a bit and then ordered our fabulous desserts: two lemon blueberry mascarpone cake and two of the chocolate cake so we could share, having a taste of both. And we were all thrilled with each of the moist freshness of those sweet delights! I wish they Circe had restaurant week at least once a month here, but then again, I would definitely be eating way too much, and you know what they say, "Through the lips and on the hips!!"

Food was excellent, short ribs and meatloaf were both very good so were the deviled eggs. Our waiter was not very good and his lack of attentiveness was inexcusable since he had a food runner and bus person. We went from placing our order to receiving our check without seeing him.

We had an awesome time. Sit outside - large patio with nice view of golf course. Waiter was great! We had many laughs. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back.
The service was excellent. The food was lovely excellent choices for entrees. The starters were skimpy at 3 items per order most places give your four items to share so we had to order two of each. Very smart for marketing but not fir the consumer. Overall we had a lovely fine as our table overlooked the beautiful landscape.

Fabulous wait person!
Circe is a wonderful dining establishment with servers who are pleasant and attentive. Every meal we have had there in the last month has been excellent. The menu is filled with a wide variety of appetizers, entrees, and desserts from which to choose. Although we try to experiment with out selections, we have already determined our favorites which never disappoint us.
We live in RI in the summers. This restaurant has become one of our favorites. Maxine was fantastic. LMC salad is the best. Thank you Circe EG!

We were a group of 5 women who took a bit of time to settle in! The waitstaff was delightful and went along with our rather silly requests. Our main server seemed to be new, but she could not have been more professional and peasant. It was a lovely evening!

Circe Restaurant and Bar bestowed upon our group a fantastic evening on their beautiful new patio. Davio was our attentive and helpful waiter who allowed us time to enjoy our wine, appetizers and entrees with plenty of time between our courses. The manager/owner visited our table to pour our wine and was so friendly and welcoming. We began our meal with salads - the delicious grilled Romaine heart with brie cheese and cranberry with a champagne vinaigrette dressing, and the LMC salad which consisted of red beets, arugula, artichokes, avocado, grated cheese, EVOO, horseradish and salt and pepper - very good although a bit more dressing may have made it tastier. The entree menu is quite lengthy and filled with variety. We chose the tender Veal Parmesan with rigatoni in a house-made Marinara; the absolutely scrumptious fresh blackened Swordfish with Beluga lentils , and Brussels Sprouts in an herb butter; and thirdly, the outstanding braised short rib on a creamy mushroom risotto with grilled asparagus and crispy parsnips - each of which were perfectly prepared. Lovely ambiance, excellent food, and top-notch service made us feel like we were royalty. Thank you to everyone at Circe for a perfect evening.
