   We enjoyed our experience at Circ very much. The personal touch that was given was so appreciated. We definitely will be back especially to enjoy the cinnamon french toast!

   Very good food, but unfortunately, the dining room was somewhat overwhelmed by a large party, but we were still able to enjoy our meal and arrive at the Symphony on time.

   We went for brunch. The food was just okay, nothing special considering I had to give my credit card for $25 per person if we did not make it to our reservation and it is in the Concourse Hotel. Service was friendly and helpful, no complaints there. You can definitely tell this place is in a hotel. Being that it is off the lobby does not help that at all. Not quite the atmosphere I was hoping for or expecting. But again, the found was okay.

   It was a wonderful experience having our Thanksgiving meal at Circ this year. The food was half buffet, half plated meal and it was uniformly excellent. We especially liked the squash soup with creme fraiche and hazelnuts, the variety of fruits and salads, meats and cheeses, and the creative desserts including chai spiced apple crisp, and the pumpkin ricotta cannoli. The wait staff was lovely. Will definitel do it again next year.

    I took my boss for breakfast after seeing the menu. We were sat at our table THEN told they are only having a buffet breakfast that would be $15.00 not the menu items i had reviewed prior to booking. We got coffee, chatted, and walked up to the buffet only to find oatmeal, eggs, bacon, and fruit!! I was mortified! Literally NOTHING to eat. I would have had better luck at a Holiday Inn.     We went for brunch and it was nothing special. This is a typical hotel restaurant that had options for buffet and to order off a menu. After looking at the buffet, which was standard moderate hotel fare (breads, scrambled eggs, meat, non-berry fruit, beverages), we decided to order off the menu. The omelettes were fluffy and flavorful but nothing to rave about. The Mexican Benedict was tasty but not original and the bacon was average and a bit like they pulled it off the the buffet table. The prices were pretty good and that was surprising for a hotel. It's located off the hotel lobby and just outside a Starbucks. There is plenty of noise from people coming and going to Starbucks and the lobby. Being local we had an impression going in to a slightly nicer, quieter brunch, but it was really run of the mill hotel food and atmosphere. There were dirty windows, dirty floors, sticky chairs, people in business attire, people in cut-offs and tank-tops, screaming kids, and quiet elderly. Our service was great! I think it was partially due to ordering off the menu versus the buffet. I suppose any restaurant has a right to use a reservation service. For brunch, I don't know why Circ uses it as it's not really worthy of a reservation except maybe for hotel guests.

    Perfectly fine brunch experience for our party of 7 on a very busy weekend. The restaurant was quiet and calm, service was good at first but then server only made 2 appearances later (no refills of water etc). Overall, would recommend Circ

    Exceptional COVID-19 safety precautions. Silverware with napkin enclosed in plastic. First two courses served to the table, choice of 3 entrees, pastry/buffet one could tell staff preferred selections and then given the plate with items. Our table felt 10 feet away from any other, spacious, food delicious. We would have liked to have seen a second vegetarian entree choice or entree of vegetable sides.

    My husband and I had Valentine's Day dinner at Circ. It was a treat! The food and service were both great. We were very pleased with each of the four courses and appreicated the attentive service, in a safe and healthy environment.

    Went on New Year’s Eve for socially distant dining and everything was outstanding. William was our server and he was friendly, helpful and fantastic in every way. Having been in the industry myself for many years I really appreciated his timing and approach. The food also exceeded our expectations, especially for the price offered for the evening.

    All of our meals were fantastic!! Our server was fantastic. The only drawback is the restaurant feels like it is in the middle of the lobby. Even still I would recommend CIRC.

    Nice atmosphere. Not worth what we paid. Ordered a steak medium and came rare. Cut was a little tough also. Overall flavor of the food was good. Chairs in the restaurant were ratty on the edges with the fabric coming off. Tables are far too close together. Tough to have a quiet conversation. Of all the places in Madison to eat, I would pick another.

    We ordered a 8 oz. sirloin steak medium rare and a 10 oz. flat iron steak medium; unfortunately, they brought us two 8 oz. sirloin steaks that were more rare than medium rare. Due to the slow service, it wasn’t worth our while to send back the steak so they could correct it.

    3 out of the 4 in our party had really good food. The 4th person said his hamburger was both too thick and burnt on outside. Our waitress was attentive and helpful but we waited for 30-40 minutes after ordering to get our food. We were heading to Hamilton at the Overature that night. By the time we got our food, we had about 15 minutes to eat before needing to head out the door. That was disappointing. Scallops and pork were excellent tho and I appreciated the substitute for potatoes.

    We were really disappointed in our experience here. Most of the food was not well prepared nor did it taste very good, one meal was completely inedible and had to be sent back. We told the host we were not happy and he left to supposedly tell someone but when our server came to check on us she was completely unaware so I don’t know who he told. A manager never came out. It’s pretty much a hotel lobby restaurant which I wouldn’t have minded had the food been better. On the positive side our server was very friendly and they accommodated allergies for our daughter off of the children’s menu which I appreciated, but I wouldn’t go back based on this experience.

    We ate there for Thanksgiving dinner. Everything was delicious but the duck and the salmon were especially good. The gluten-free chocolate cake was to die for.
