Review summary

AI-generated from verified diner reviews
Cino delights with "homemade pasta" and inventive dishes like charred octopus. The "atmosphere" is inviting, though sometimes "noisy." Service, led by standout servers like Lala and Roman, is often "amazing." While some find it "pricey," most agree the experience is worth it. Ideal for special occasions.

Great food, srevice and ambience. The only thing I wasn’t too fond of was the tiramisu, which was their own twist. But still good just different.

Interesting place. Way too loud. Food was good but they did not have what we wanted and was listed on the menu. Will try again in a bit, hopefully they will get out the kinks.

It just took forever to get our drinks/food and we had opening night at Six and at told them many times. Food was great! Pork chop wasn’t warm though-but overall so delicious. We had to ask for the check twice and ended up being late too the show and had to stand and wait until the next act-so that was disappointing. steak tartare and the twice baked potato amazing pork chop was amazing. My friend pasta was really good. We will be back but just the food times need to get corrected and improved. Staff very nice-kitchen needs to get faster, but our wine took too long as well to get to us.

**A Special Night, Ruined: Rushed, Robotic, and Completely Disrespectful** I brought my mother and mother-in-law to this restaurant for what was supposed to be a special dinner — a chance to celebrate two incredible women with a meaningful meal. Instead, it felt like we were shuffled through a glorified fast food experience with white tablecloths. From the moment we sat down, the pressure to *eat and leave* was palpable. Plates arrived before we could finish sentences, let alone courses. Bread hadn't even been touched before appetizers hit the table, and entrées came out before we could savor a single bite. It was relentless. Like a conveyor belt of indifference. We asked — *multiple times* — for the meal to be coursed out, for the pace to slow down, to give us time to enjoy each other’s company and the food. Our requests were either ignored or dismissed with hollow nods. It felt less like a celebration and more like a transaction: sit, order, chew, pay, leave. The food may have been decent, but we didn’t get a chance to enjoy it. There was no rhythm, no hospitality, and absolutely no sense that the staff cared about the experience they were delivering. They were too busy clearing plates before we were finished, refilling water mid-sip, and making sure we felt like an inconvenience for lingering longer than 45 minutes. This was supposed to be a special evening. Instead, it became a masterclass in how to make guests feel unwelcome. I don’t care how many stars or awards a place has — if you can’t respect the purpose of dining out, especially when it’s a milestone moment, you don’t deserve your reputation. There are too many restaurants in this city that know how to make people feel seen and valued. This one isn’t among them. We won’t be back.

The service was excellent. The hostess was polite and seated us quickly. The waiter was attentive and informative. The food however, leaved a lot to be desired. The osso bucco was tough, most likely not cooked long enough and was ultra under seasoned. The saffron risotto that accompanied it was undercooked, watery, and also under seasoned. Saffron not detected. Tasteless basically. It was packed up whole and never addressed by the server or manager. The rigatoni bolognese was pretty good. Very meaty and well cooked pasta but just ok. The Branzino was delicious. Moist with an excellent sauce and pretty well deboned. This was the highlight of our evening. The branzino and the excellent waiter! Not sure if we will return. Maybe just for the beet salad. Chefs kiss for the beet salad!

Cino is one of our favorite restaurants on Oahu! We always spilt an appetizer, pasta and steak! However recently I had the pork chop and it was to die for! The charred octopus is amazing to! End the night with the tiramisu!!!

Everything was great. Staff was friendly and attentive. Our server, Lala had amazing recommendations and had great menu knowledge. Every single food item we tried was incredible. My favorite as the veal chop and spinach. Flavors were unexpected and delicious. Our entire group is excited to go back again. Excellent restaurant!
