   We had to wait a very long time for our food. The waitress was very apologetic and the manager comped a meal without us asking so that was greatly appreciated.

   Absolutely the best new Italian cuisine, excellent crafted cocktails, amazing service. Really great experience and would definitely return. My in-laws miss Bucca Di Beppo which they considered good Italian food but they need to have the Cino experience to understand truly well prepared and sourced Italian cuisine!

   I don’t want this to be published as I don’t want to hurt the restaurant. The service last night was extremely slow. It was not the fault of the server. Apparently there was a shortage in the kitchen. Instead of just waiting and waiting the restaurant should have explained the problem so we are just not sitting there frustrated.

   Hubby ordered Crab Spaghetti and Crab Cakes. I ordered the Veal Parmesan and Twice Baked Potato. He said the crab cakes were very nice but too small in size and expensive to merit 5 stars. He liked the crab spaghetti too but said the uni sauce did not bring out the full crab flavor; the pasta was fresh and excellent. My Parmesan was HUUUUUGE. In my old age, I can't eat a lot, and had I known the portion would be a bone-in and so large, I would have ordered a pasta. The meat was done to perfection, but somehow, I didn't care for the sauce, which I felt took away from the crispiness and tenderness of the veal. The presentations were excellent, but the food was lacking just a bit to merit full 5 stars. The twice baked potato was the only dish we could give a full 5 to. However, the place is nice----although the noise can get a little too energetic. We will be back several from now.

   We traveled to Oahu from Maui to celebrate my birthday week and was really excited to dine at Cino for first time. What a let down! One positive note…The hostess was super welcoming and kindly offered us a couple different tables to select from. Unfortunately, once we were seated it took at least 5 mins before our server came by to introduce himself and take wine order. They were all out of the 2 most popular bottles of wine (Caymus is what we were hoping for) and settled on something by the glass instead. Then we ordered a starter, 2 entrees. Our reservation was at 7pm, didn’t get wine till around 7:25pm and first starter didn’t arrive till 7:47pm. Our server was bogged down with 2 large groups and felt like he forgot about us or distracted understandably so with the 2 large tables. We had to go up to hostess a couple times to send him over. After an hour waiting and delay after delay, we decided to leave for Fete (tried and true option). The hostess was so apologetic on our way out and we were extremely disappointed with how my birthday dinner or lack there of went. Fete was super accommodating for a last minute reservation of 8:30 and service amazing, wine, cocktails, food, always creative and delicious. I think Cino has a lot of potential and it was horrible luck to be a party of 2 with a server taking care of 2 large parties at the same time as us.

   We have been dying to eat here. Finally made it in for date night. The location is a little challenging to find but now we know. The food was delicious and the service was great. The only downside is how expensive it is. Definitely a place for special occasions.

    This was my 4th visit. I brought 2 special friends. Food, service and ambience were all exceptional Creative and delicious prep on all items (octopus , fish, filet Mignon, pasta, sides and desert) I am a regular as will be everyone whom I’ve brought Mahalo nui loa and Grazie Mille! bernyce
