El restaurante Cindy's es amplio y ligero y recuerda a las típicas casas de playa de los Grandes Lagos, con una decoración que cambia según el ambiente exterior. La estacionalidad se refleja no solo en las cartas de comida y bebida, sino también en el cielo, el parque y el paisaje urbano de Chicago que es absorbido de forma natural en el ambiente de la azotea. We were really excited to get a reservation for the time needed on a Friday night. When we arrived, the restaurant was probably the loudest restaurant we've ever been in. The problem was that there was a private party of about 30 people that was supposed to be on the terrace but due to inclement weather was indoors in the dining room. The attendees were extremely drunk and loud. Also the table we were seated at was where people passed though to get to their table and my chair was bumped at least 10 times. service and food were okay. Needless to say we were very disappointed.

We had the unusual experience of being able to sit outside. Gorgeous view of the city.

My best friend and I had lunch at Cindy’s. It was phenomenal. The views were spectacular. Our service was immaculate. The food was delicious. The cocktails and mocktails were amazing. Loved every second of it. We started with the tuna tartare. We each had lobster rolls. She ended with a scoop of raspberry sorbet, and I had chocolate chip cookies. Everything was phenomenal.

The food and service were EXCELLENT. The restaurant is beautiful. It was noisy, but we were able to carry on conversation. My only complaint was the seating. The bank or couch I sat on was noticeably lower than the seat of my dining partner across the table. We joked with the people next to us that we needed booster seats.

The view was spectacular! The Resturant is special and really relaxed atmosphere. We ordered 3 unique salads for 7 people and then sandwiches from the menu. I would have liked larger salad for the price but it did work out for lunch.

A delightful lunch with a terrific view. The lunch menu was a bit limited but the food was very good. You can tell a lot about a restaurant by how much care and attention they pay to the humble cheeseburger, and mine was perfectly grilled and delicious. The restaurant's space is, well, spacious. Lofty, sunny, and very pleasant. The view from the balcony is one of the best in the city. And the service was outstanding. Loved it, definitely going back.

Drinks were good. The service was okay. The artichoke appetizer was terrible - it was simply inedible so we sent it back. The appetizer was also served at the same time as the main course, which was weird. For the main course we ordered steak frites and mushroom risotto - those were fine. The ambiance was the main true negative of the night - surrounded by hard surfaces all around, the noise level was extremely high.

Food was delicious. Staff and service were bizarre. There were two young female servers standing in a corner, before coming to take our drink order, staring at our 3 year old and whispering. There was a gentleman (I think) with long hair, tie dye shirt, and a gross amount of chest hair hanging out of his shirt, working as a host - he walked by repeatedly while staring at our child and then smirking. The food was good but NOT good enough to ever return to such a bizarre place with rude, hairy staff.
