“Some foods taste so much more complex when cooked on a wood fire,” Craft says. “Grilling is a universal technique so the menu reflects many different cultures but the food will be heavily influenced by the grilling mecca of South America.”
Craft’s focus on simple foods with bold flavors is highlighted throughout the menu and includes several steak selections and rotating grilled items. From grilled pickles to grilled lamb ribs in soy, lime and garlic with a mango-honey glaze, dishes feature enticing techniques and flavors.
Dine indoors with warm wood and stone interiors or venture out onto the new outdoor lounge and upbeat bar area.

We loved the view of the city. We are going to visit again.
Enjoyed the ambiance and the service. Would recommend.
Great dinner and perfect Old Fashion as always! Can't wait for my next visit!
Absolutely fabulous! We can't wait for our next visit
Quite possibly the best restaurant in St. Louis, MO
Brought 8 people with me who had never been to Cinder House as we celebrated my 62nd bday. The rooftop was not crowded and we ate outside. Ordered 4 appetizers -- they were nice but now WOW. Then 8 entrees: pork chop, wagyu beef, tuna, piri chicken and not one of my friends nor myself had anything good to say about the food. Actually, nobody said anything good or bad until the entire event was over. That's when I discovered that it wasn't just my meal. Nobody was impressed (they each paid for their own meals). The food was beautifully prepared and the presentation was excellent, however, I'm quite sure that the spice cabinet was locked and even the salt and pepper was nowhere to be found that night by the Chef. Bland doesn't even begin to describe it. So disappointing. No moaning over a single bite by anyone. Not only that, but I was surprised to see a 20% tip by the waiter instead of the 18% that was listed on their website. Many of us worked in the hospitality industry in our younger days so we don't have a problem tipping well but honestly we all felt that he didn't even try to give us good service because he knew his tip was guaranteed. He didn't once come to the table and ask us if the food was okay, did we need another drink, etc. I did address with Matt, the manager, my concerns and he agreed to adjust the bill 2% for wrong tip amount and said he wasn't aware that the 18% was listed on their website. He didn't seem to me to be genuinely sorry that these 9 people didn't have an outstanding experience or for the bland food, the poor service or the upcharge on the tip. He only offered a coupon for a drink and app if I come back. Sorry, we won't be back. Unfortunately you know how it goes when you have a bad situation -- people are more apt to tell 10 people it was bad than they are to tell 1 person it was great.
Great day with family. Service was nice. View was perfect. We enjoyed our time at Top Golf. Will definitely be back!
Awesome all around! One of my fave restaurants in STL!
Server was surly. Easter menu disappointing even though we had eaten there many times before. Meal was very slow coming out of the kitchen.
Used to be one of our favorites.
The food, service, and view are amazing. We will be back!
The services were wonderful and the food was amazing. People need to try the lamb ribs they are delicious. My wife loved it for her birthday and appreciated the wonderful atmosphere during her time. We will definitely come back to this place in the future.
From the staff to the food, this place is amazing too to bottom! The best part is the menu indicates gluten free and vegetarian options. I will be returning with my wife many times to come.
Our waitress was the best ever!!! I don’t remember her name but she lives in Collinsville,Il.
Great service, well spaced tables, great food. The whole staff was professional and friendly, very welcoming.
Very good cuisine by Chef Craft/Hotel Kitchen Staff and an outstanding Sommelier in Anthony Geary. One unacceptable new practice that I was very disappointing with was that they did not offer complete Bread & Butter, anymore. It needs to be available one way or the other even if it is offered as a side item.
The restaurant offers a beautiful view of the city if you choose outdoor seating. The food was great. Service could’ve been better.
This is a great place to eat the hosts the waitress we're very polite I really enjoyed this atmosphere and I will be back thank you Cinder house and thank you very much hope you're very talented young lady thank you
Delicious breakfast with a wonderful view with terrific service
Great day to celebrate
Relatives in town very lovely and safe experience
Great breakfast selection
Wonderful time, great food
The food and service was absolutely amazing. I didn't expect the restaurant to have such nice views but WOW. I will definitely go back.
So intimate and gorgeous. I really enjoyed my time there and the food was awesome
Thank you! Everything was great! Lovely location and great view!
First of all, great job on making people feel safe during these COVID times. Magnificent time on the patio! We ordered all the appetizers along with drinks. The drinks were delicious and on point. We didn’t get (and weren’t charged for) the onion dip, so I cannot speak to that. The other apps were phenomenal and even good, reheated as leftovers. We will be going back here soon. I felt very COVID safe.
If you’re not staying at the hotel or from the area the restaurant was very hard to find.
Super swanky with great views. Limited but diverse menu. Excellent cocktails!
The food and service were great. The noise was pretty high but our group really contributed to that. Overall I would definitely recommend.
Wonderful to be out in a nice quiet atmosphere. Great drinks, great food and great view!
The location over the Mississippi River is outstanding. We had a warm, sunny day in February. Some people were eating outside, but we sat by the huge window and enjoyed the sun and view. Our service and food for breakfast was great.
Food great. Service not so good. After requesting when we ordered everything to pace it out slowly they proceeded to bring the appetizer salad and soup all at once.
The waiter was amazing and the food was so good! Great rooftop!
One of the best restaurants in St. Louis, the food matches the view and the service and execution are outstanding.
Ambiance was great. I went there with my wife for a romantic dinner. And Romantic it was indeed. But the food was just mediocre. And that was disappointing.
Terrible food. Service subpar
Awesome place...beautiful view!!! The food and service were outstanding! We’ll be back!
I didn’t like the predetermined menu for Valentine’s Day. I had these reservations for almost 3 months and knew what I wanted off the regular menu. Switching the menu for a holiday would have been alright, but only having one choice for the guests...? I, like many others, don’t like being seated and told what I’ll be eating that night. Food was good quality, but less than expected for the price
I wanted mimosas:(
Like cmon :((((((((((((((((((((
Valentine’s Day. The food was really good. Could have used larger portions, but when they do a specialty menu there is usually more courses with less food. Ate there for breakfast as well. Breakfast sausage and potatoes are amazing.
Excellent dinner. Wonderful setting. Amazing View.
Amazing all around!
A bit disappointed. Not what I would hv expected from CH for Valentine’s weekend. Not bad but not wow
