We did not enjoy your dinner here. Did not receive appetizers that we ordered. Drinks were not refilled after sitting there for 20 minutes. When our food came and we mentioned that we hadn’t received our apps yet. The waiters response was well we have to remake all this food so here you go. Will just takeoff the apps. Did not even ask them ask if we still wanted them. Very disappointed with the service we had in the food did not taste very good that we did receive.
Food was good. The queso and guacamole were excellent. Loud restaurant. Problem is they are understaffed and it took over an hour to get our food after ordering it and we had an 8:15 reservation that night. Other people we knew had a better experience. I would give it another shot.
Our food took nearly one hour to deliver to our table. Even though we made reservations days prior, our food took extremely long to be delivered to our table. This nearly ruined our night.
Our server was forgetful and also took long to bring items that we requested.
Not a date night spot. Very loud wirh lots of kids.
Restaurant was filthy. Food crumbs all through restaurant. Dirty tables and seats. Roof leak in area and still seating. Kid sleeping at initial table we were seated.
Had to reorder my food twice. First time was completely wrong. But the left the black beans and rice which were cold by the time my entre showed up. asked for flour tortillas, never showed.
Food wasn't that great...salsa and queso disappointed the kids.
Service was good but the food was not. I won’t be going back to this restaurant.
Our waitress was great!!
My husband and I have ate here 3 times. The food is good and we love Kalahari. Our waiter was good, he did the best he could, however they continue to not have adequate staff and he was overworked. I love the fajitas!
Food was soooooo good! Yum
The street corn was yummy, the fajitas were delicious
The fajitas were good but the chili mango margarita was pretty bad. I typically love those but mine tasted nothing like a margarita and even had a hint of cucumber. Maybe something got mixed up but the server was great and took it off the bill, since I did not drink it. Overall we liked it and would go back.
The chairs were so cozy I could've slept on them. I love their unique drinks. The food was literally out in minutes. Our server Clive was awesome.
The food wasn’t that great and it was pretty pricey for what you got. The service was average. The restaurant was clean.
Loved the music, food, drinks and staff! Great job! I will be back soon!!
Great atmosphere and food. Large tequila selection and good margaritas.
We enjoyed about half of the menu items we ordered. Some of it just wasn’t to our taste. Our server, while extremely friendly, forgot to check on us, and I went without a drink for most of my meal. The restaurant was not full but she did say that she sometimes forgot about our table in the corner. I wasn’t too put out because she was very nice. I do feel that the food is a tad overpriced. I’m guessing that is because it is located inside a resort hotel. Makes sense. Expect that going into it. We will skip eating here if we come back to the resort. It just wasn’t for us, but maybe it is for you.
The waitress was amazing and was checking on us constantly. Our food came out as we requested it and service was fast.
They appeared to be understaffed. I had a 6:00 reservation and wasn't seated until 6:15. Then the server took awhile for our drinks. The server also forgot when we asked for more salsa, pico on the side for queso. Since this restaurant is at a waterpark, we would expect more kid friendly food. While "modern Mexican" would work at an upscale shopping center, it doesn't really work for a waterpark. The kids (17 and 18) did not enjoy their food. They both had enchiladas and they were soupy. I had the combo fajitas. The chicken was great, along with the sautéed peppers. The beef was cut into inch squared strips. They were not really usable in a taco.
Food was great. It took so long to get us the food and it was not that busy. We had this issue at other restaurants in the resort as well.
I was really expecting the food to be of better value. The kid's meal is NOT worth $8.
Great food and drinks. Stayed at the kalahari. Made reservations for Saturday night. Got right in to be seated.
The food here was very good but the service was extremely slow.
Just an average experience. Nothing great nothing bad. Food was just okay. Beautiful restaurant and resort, though.
Although the meals are a bit expensive for Tex-Mex, the quality and taste are outstanding! No matter how crowded the restaurant got, I was always at a comfortable temperature and this is a fun place to visit while at Kalahari Resort.
Horrible service and the food was disgusting. My youngest son got physically sick from the food. Absolutely terrible experience!
We had a great dinner. The food was delicious and the server was excellent. They were helpful and responsive and very friendly.
Was not impressed by the service nor food. It was cold and took forever
GM introduced himself and service was great!! Food was fabulous!!
The atmosphere was fantastic and our waitress was great but the food wasn't great. When they brought our food out from the kitchen they didn't know which plate was mine and which was my husband's. The waiter from the kitchen literally told us he didn't know whose plate was whose and wanted us to sort them out ourselves. We both had Enchilada plates but one was chicken and the other was brisket. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for the food.
Staff was very nice and accommodating to our needs. Thanks
We had a great dinner and wonderful service. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Great overall. Would definitely return and come back.
Atmosphere was very nice service was awesome and food was delicious. The resort looks beautiful.
Our sevice from Clive was fantastic. Food was good, wasn't a fan of the presentation. Enchiladas served in a bowl on top of the rice and beans. Preference to have everything separated personally. Would definitely go back. Good margaritas. Impressive tequila selection.
The service was not at the level of what you would expect from a resort. The food was okay, not great. There was a miscommunication about the menu and so our order was not correct and the manager was very unprofessional in attempting to rectify the situation. We will probably not return.
Please read the reviews about the food they are accurate. Margaritas lack flavor. The food is overpriced for the poor quality they serve and it is bland. They do not follow cdc guidelines to sit 6 feet apart. The manager walked us over to our table and sat us next to a party of 6 that was repeatedly coughing. After a few minutes I looked for the same manager and asked why all the tables where sat 6 ft apart except us (there was many empty tables). Her response was, “I didn’t know you where upset and the other table was dirty.” It was very difficult to take in being a front line healthcare worker, but I kindly asked her to move us. Moments later after we got moved they brought another table of 6 and sat them right next to where we sat. The manager immediately realized the hostess had sat them down and moved the customers to another table. This restaurant clearly does not follow CDC guidelines.
The service was excellent, and the waitress was attentive and knowledgeable. The food was delicious.
Mexican dining where they ran out of Queso during dinner time? Service was slow, food was cold, asked for no tomatoes and got them, it was my daughters birthday (10 years old), we told the waitress and they did nothing for her. But the table that came in after us across the room had a birthday and they brought them desert and sang to them.
Terrible experience across the board.
Great customer service, food, and drinks. Went for a date day with my husband and really enjoyed ourselves.
