Cielo is a classic Italian trattoria. The restaurant itself is decorated simply and cleanly. All the walls, tables and chairs are painted a flat white, with dashes of color provided by the orange candle centerpieces and the large pieces of artwork hanging up on the walls. In addition to the elegant dining room, Ceilo has a large covered patio that is ideal for dining outdoors, even if its raining outside. Ceilo's menu highlights the best aspects of Italian cuisine. Diners will find plenty of pasta dishes in addition to items like grilled octopus salad, eggplant parmigiana and chicken saltimbocca. Ceilo also carries a wide selection of red and white wines, most of which come from Italian vintners although there are some French and California varieties as well.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Food delivery was very slow. Price pretty high given quantity. Food was very good but not great. Waiter gave good advice on wine. Cash-only policy was the biggest turn-off as was not indicated on website.

The food is dependable and always great at Cielo. I've never been disappointed. Perfect for prix fixe lunch, weekday dinners and of course on weekends. Hakan is a welcoming host and really nice guy. His staff is now in the groove. We are lucky to have a restaurant like this in town.

I enjoyed my first visit to Cielo which was right around the time of its opening. At that point, our group was willing to forgive the flaws in service etc as the hiccups of a newly opened restaurant though the food was very good. Months later, we returned expecting a better experience of a more settled establishment... Unfortunately, that is not what we found. Out of their already very limited wine list, two bottles were no longer available, and the substitutions suggested were very different from what we desired. That was especially unfortunate given that it took until we nearly were finished with our first bottle of wine before anyone came around to take our order, and we had to ask for service at that. Instructions on the order weren't followed, and the food eventually arrived somewhat tepid and bland. Overall, a disappointing evening, and I doubt that I would go back. The restaurant is cute, and the ambiance is nice - with a sweet patio out front in the warmer weather. However, as one person at our table observed, "I don't think this restaurant is long for this world."

This is a very nice restaurant in Wilton, small but comfortable. The best deal is the 3-course prix fixe lunch at $19. Food is very good. The owner is very friendly. Highly recommended. The only caveat is that it only takes cash, no credit cards.

Service wAs good. Food was poor. I made a reservation 3 weeks in advance and we had a table in the doorway to the restaurant no joke never going back!

How nice it is to have an excellent restaurant close by. We don't have to travel to NY for a great meal. The owner is so gracious, you feel like old friends after your first visit. Service is flawless and the specials are each night make choosing what to order a real dilemma. And the desserts? Worth every stinkin calorie!!!!!!

We were excited to try a fairly new restaurant not far from Ridgefield. The food was excellent and delicious. The service, however, was not attentive. I don't know if it was understaffed but the waiter was difficult to understand. He took a long time to greet us at the table. Never checked on us after the food was served. Perhaps it was an "off night". We will return because we really enjoyed the food. It's sparsely decorated in white which adds to the noise level. It's not very cozy or intimate. It could use a little "warming up". Fairly easy to get a reservation & reasonably priced. Good available parking too.
