Cicchetti - Covent Garden
Really friendly staff, we where well looked after and food good. Pasta dishes great 👍
Excellent food in an excellent environment. We had been here previously and it was as good as our previous experience. We would highly recommend it, the best Italian food I have eaten outside of Italy
Amazing food, ambiance and service. Have been many times and always a wonderful place to go and celebrate.
One of my favorite restaurants.
very expensive for small portions
Not our first visit and won't be our last when in London.
Fantastic food. Service brilliant and staff so helpful
We were two adults and two 12 year olds and we had a lovely meal
Great food and service. Would definitely come back.
We were in the restaurant as tourists but I had previously contacted them to say it was my mums birthday and they brought out a lovely little party with a candle and sang to her, service all around was fantastic, thank you so much :)
Nice lunch on a rainy day. Decor inside very nice & food itself was lovely
Some small feedback - I didn’t find the waiter very friendly- he seemed a bit irritated to answer a couple of questions. I was also a bit put off by his grubby uniform & it was the start of service
Tiny portions at a big price but service and food are good
So bad experience...
The food was tasteless and service was awful.
Highly NOT recommended
The finest Italian food with outstanding hospitality. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant
A busy restaurant with good food and attentive service.
We visited the restaurant to catch up with old friends at lunch time. The restaurant had a good ambiance and was bright. We were handed the main menu but only became aware of the set lunch time menu when an adjoining table asked for it, which we received when we asked for it and eventually went for.
The recommendation is two dishes per person which was fine as two of us were small eaters but not sure if it was three hungry men. We went for a mix of dishes which had plenty of flavour, with the only dish we were not overly keen on being the Risotto with asparagus. We would have been happier if it had been a firmer consistency, less sauce and not laying flat on the dish. There is a good range of desserts to keep most people happy.
Excellent from start to finish. Thanks all and see tou again soon.
I understand it was a Friday night but the service was really slow and we had to keep asking to be served
Everything was perfect.
We absolutely loved the big selection on the menu, and everything was fantastic! Delicious, and presented beautifully. Love the medium size plates - we were able to try 6 different dishes, and really enjoyed everything. Would love to go back on the next London trip
San carlo on selfridges was OK but this one in Covent garden was awful. We must have caught it on a bad day, the food wasnt fresh, the crab tasted a few days old and you could tell the potatoes had just been reheated. The overall palette was borderline below average. For £90 for two people this was a complete waste of money. Deifnitelt not the place to go for good italian food.
Excellent lunchtime special menu
Great atmosphere and service
Italian tapas, with the recommendation being that each couple order 4 or 5 of them. That was the perfect amount for us. Most were excellent. I highly recommend the gnocchi. Great service.
Our favourite restaurant in London! We visit London multiple times and have dined here 6 times now!
Beautiful interior, with exceptional service and delicious Italian food! So much to choose from but the beauty of tapas is you don't have to pick just one thing! Good portion sizes for sharing each dish!
Would highly recommend the Parpadelle, tagliatelle bolognese, deep fried cheese balls & chicken Parmesan pizza! Can't wait to return!
Such a friendly service.. cosy place.. above average food... will come again
I am a regular visit to Cicchetti’s sister restaurant in Picadilly but the first time here. Not disappointed and the food was of the same high standard and my wife and I would go back there in a heartbeat.
Buzzing atmosphere. Friendly and knowledgeable staff who gave good advice about dishes and, in particular, our wine choices. Particularly enjoyable were the lobster ravioli and the fish stew which was enormous.
Would certainly recommend and hope to visit again soon.
Cicchetti is a tapas style restaurant with small to medium sized sharing plates and first impressions are fabulous. The restaurant is a stone's throw from the Eros statue on Picadilly, but the minute you step in, you are transported to another world of foodie elegance.
We ordered a range of dishes, starting with the lobster ravioli, shellfish spaghetti and arancini. Both pastas were excellent, flavoursome and clearly made with love. The only criticisms were that the ravioli could have been a just a fraction more al dente and the chilli in the shellfish pasta was added so sparingly it was indiscernible. The arancini was, well, a classic arancini — three small, but perfectly formed balls of rice with a bolognaise centre, just the right combination of outer crunch and inner fluffiness.
After a short break we went again, with beef short ribs, grilled tuscan sausages with rosemary potatoes and a rocket salad. The ribs were to die for. Slow-cooked and falling off the bone, and the sausages were strong on flavour and very meaty. The salad was so lightly dressed it was more beach-ready than lunch-ready.
We ordered wines by the glass, which at one point proved to be a challenge — when a Montepulciano was served in a glass cloudy with smears and stains. The waiter was apologetic, and replaced it quickly, but the replacement was still far from the gleaming glassware you expect in any restaurant, let alone one offering elegant dining. It was a case of third time lucky.
We passed on puds, but by the time service was added, the bill was just shy of £150 — a huge amount for a relatively light lunch.
The atmosphere, location and food are all excellent — but Cicchetti is let down by its poor value for money (and grubby glassware).
Wasn’t seated somewhere nice but they quickly moved us
Great food as always. Will keep returning!
This was our first visit to this restaurant. Although busy with the Pre theatre diners the service was excellent and the food amazing. Will definitely be going again
Really enjoyed a lunch Spinach Ravioli we delicious good service great decor and location ideal for theatres
We stopped in for for dinner as a family of five before a Novello Show. The place was really nice inside, unfortunately despite having reservations we were out in the back of the restaurant by the bathrooms and back door of the restaurant. Guests continually came in to be turned away by the staff or
I would recommend this restaurant however some of the dishes are quite expensive and also not so good for sharing.
It would be nice to know which dishes come out quicker as my lamb cutlets and tuna came out after everyone had finished.
Super rude staff
Amazing as usual!!! Great food and impeccable service, can’t wait to return!
Great ambience, but slightly small portions for the price. Service was amazing - we by mistake went to the wrong branch and missed our booking time, but they moved it slightly to allow me to get to the correct restaurant!
THIS IS THE 3RD TIME WE HAVE BEEN BACK TO CICCHETTI AND AS ALWAYS WE HAD A SUPERB MEAL
I just love this restaurant - the food is outstanding, the atmosphere is fantastic, the staff are wonderful. One of my all time favourite restaurants EVER. Just love it!
We ordered 4 courses and expected all at the same time not one at time. Disappointed really because the one Piccadilly I would give 5 stars for all
I have been to Cicchetti a good few times now, and it is excellent. Definitely one of our favourite places to go.
I have visited here a couple of times and love it. My only gripe there is no room to wait at the bar for your table to become available. It’s very cramped but that aside I love it here.
