Server forgot that we asked to taste a wine, then forgot our starter. The Alfredo and cream brûlée (comped due to earlier events) was amazing, but the spaghetti with wagyu sauce was a bit dry. Restaurant didn’t seem very busy and we went on a Friday Night at 8. Overall we feel that service was the entire reason why we may not return for a good while.

Took the wife to Cibo on Mother’s Day 2025. First time we were there….we live in Summerfield, NC outside of Greensboro and originally from NYC ages ago. I don’t know how many of you are from NYC but this restaurant reminded us of the great family Italian restaurants we experienced in all 5 boroughs back when. Not the way overpriced ones but the neighborhood restaurants similar to the one Billy Joel wrote about in Scenes From an Italian Restaurant. Cibo was kinda loud with great and I do mean great Italian food and deserts like those ole family restaurants. Well not sure it’s always loud because it was our first time there and it was a crowded Mothers Day group. But the great food is food no matter the noise level. 👍 Give it a go folks.

Cibo is authentic Italian food! Our waiter was excellent and the place was packed. The only issue I have is the crashing of plates and throwing of bottles behind the divider. It’s not a low key bar! That kind of noise should be discouraged in a fine dining establishment IMO.

This is the place to go for Italian food. All our choices were very tasty. Our server John B was very helpful in describing items on the menu and helping us to make choices on what to eat. Timing of the meal was perfect. We will be back to try more items.
