Our upstairs floor houses our Italian full service restaurant, offering reservations and is great for groups.
Loved, loved, loved this place! Was exactly the atmosphere, location and ambiance we were looking for. Cant wait to go back and try the pizza! Pasta was delish!
It was very pleasant.
The tables are Cibo tend to be pretty close together so we immediately asked to be moved as they wanted to seat us a foot away from a table of 6 girls. We felt like we'd be joining their party. We ended up in a quiet corner with a perfect table and view of the whole place. The food was good but both meals were too salty.
We used to love Cibo. It was a mainstay for dining with family or friends. We’ve been twice since the renovation/ rebrand and both times the food has been just good- not bad by any means but just good. The service however, has been terrible. Zero personality servers that have no idea what is going on, excessively long waits for food drinks service, no check backs, food coming out at all different times. It’s absolutely ridiculous. Plus, the noise level in the upper dining room- the only option now for reserved seating- is so excessive, normal conversation is difficult. But the service. Wow Cibo, you need to pull up your socks. We won’t be back for a long time.
Food was not up to the standards we have had in the past.
Cesar salad had brown lettuce.
Table bread was dry.
Coffee was cold and had been sitting for a while.
The mains we fine (pizza )
Best food out we’ve had in a while
Our waiter made sure every aspect of my birthday went smoothly. He was considerate of our time and our experience! He was so sweet and I will absolutely be back.
Great experience. Food was delicious - server was friendly. Kitchen and bar were a bit slow
We went out for pizza and salad and Cibo did not disappoint. The restaurant was pretty packed so the reservation was a must. The wild boar bacon was very good and we love sharing.
It was crazy loud in there. There were a ton of kids and the parents were doing very little to control them, including allowing them to run and chase each other in the restaurant. It was incredibly annoying to us as guests, and it had to have been unsafe to the servers.
I love the look of the restaurant, but there is no noise buffering whatsoever. It is wide open and it was very, very loud.
Our service was outstanding, Courtney was awesome.
Our food was pretty good, 2 of us really enjoyed what we had, and 2 of us didn’t. We had 2 types of pizza as starters, the mushroom was pretty bland, but the pear was very good.
We would return, but I would certainly come later to avoid the kids. I would have certainly appreciated a manager at least asking the parents to keep them under control. I wish as a society we’d stop being so afraid of speaking up when there is a dangerous situation caused by children.
Very good food and good service. Very reasonably priced. Definitely a great spot!
Great food, pretty good service but very noisy
Food was great and service was awesome. Happy hour is the best. :-)
Party of five. We all enjoyed the Thursday appetizer specials. A great place for causal dining with friends and family.
The food is consistent and always delicious
hate that the pizza has changed and when ordered no one said anything.... underdone wild bore, burnt pear pizza, funky cheese pizza... use to be our fav pizza joint
We at upstairs in the restaurant area. There, we shared many dishes and everything was enjoyable. Service was phenomenal and wine recommendations were great. Really like what they’ve done with the downstairs market as well.
Family friendly. We had a toddler with food allergies and they were very accommodating.
Great happy hour! Excellent food and drinks. It’s our go to restaurant when we go out to eat.
Our waiter was absolutely amazing. She was really nice and really cared, and actually started conversations with us creating a personal connection with me and my girlfriend. We loved our night here. :)
Short waiting time, great food, and outstanding service!
Our service was so bad on Valentines Day we left before we could even get our drinks which took the waiter 25 mins to get. And he only brought us empty glasses and no wine. It was a terrible experience.
Excellent experience in a cafe/market/restaurant ambience. Food second to none! Wonderful
everything was great from start to finish . Very attentive staff and amazing food - it was our first visit but will not be our last
Slow service. Loud atmosphere
We had good advice about what wine to order. The boat cheeks were delicious too! An interesting menu choice.
We went on a Monday night and service was slow considering they were busy. We could see only 2 servers all night. And when 9pm came it was busier due to the $5 pizza special. They may want to consider having an extra server on shift.
Meatballs and Pasta were good but could have been hotter.
We have been there before, enjoyed the food and ambience and will go there again.
Great pizza at a great price on a Sunday
I’ve literally never had a pizza crust that amazing!
Great Thursday specials!!!
Food was awful , made a complain with the manager and they got me another plate to try and it was burnt , the manager still decided to give it to me like that .
Yet another great experience at Cibo 17th Ave! Met my brother here for a casual visit over Pizza Sunday specials and were as impressed, as always! our server was friendly and efficient, making sure our driks were refreshed & we were happy with our meals, but without being intrusive. As busy as this place gets on Pizza Sunday, the noise level is still manageable in the upstairs sections. We appreciated the great value of the $12 pizzas - the selection of toppings is fantastic, the crust is perfect every time, and we are never disappointed! We shared the to-die-for Brussel Sprouts as our appetizer - even people who don't normally like Sprouts should try these! We'll definitely be back, and not only on Pizza Sundays!
Very good food, polite staff, overall a really good experience
Great food and service. A little loud to carry on a conversation with a table of six.
Very nice birthday dinner experience. Free birthday dessert, friendly and timely service, and delicious food. Also a great bottle of wine with a $10 discount given they didn't have the bottle in stock that we had first ordered off the menu. Overall very pleasant dining experience, including a kid-friendly menu and atmosphere on 17th Ave!
Very disappointing! The appy’s were ok, calamari was good and the arancini were not great. We had three different pastas for main courses and they were dreadful. None of us had more than a few bites. Ugh! Shame on the kitchen for sending that out to customers! On the bright side, our server was amazing. He should start looking for another job though. A kitchen that awful is going to negatively impact his income.
We love going to Cibo as we don’t go out much at all to eat. Food is always delicious. I especially liked the calamari and mushroom pizza. Service was good. I also like going there because my son, Ryan works there.
Our server was amazing and the food was out quick!
We always appreciate the value of Cibo. It’s affordable with great specials and the food is always consistently good. Service is also always attentive and on point.
