The polenta mushroom appetizer is fantastic. Crispy on outside, firm (not mushy on the inside. The calamari shrimp and lemon appetizer was a little short on shrimp and salty, though the deep fried lemons were unique and good. Spinach salad, the basalmic vinegar was a little too sour. The service was also fantastic. Attentive but not intrusive. Wine list is great and extensive. Was there on a Wednesday night, my husband's birthday. They brought him a complementary dessert. He picked vanilla gelato with lines of delicious caramel and a shot of hot cappuccino over the top. Excellent. We'll be back.

It was an awesome experience. I love how authentic and delicious my meal tasted. My dish was the Aglio E Olio, the noodles were cooked to perfection. The spice level was just enough. I finished my entire plate.

Last minute reservation and we were lucky to choose an early time slot because by 7:00 it was pretty full! My guest needs a gluten free selection and while there is not a separate menu they do provide a commercially produced spaghetti noodle they use when gluten free is selected; otherwise all pasta is reportedly homemade on site.

Spinach salad was very good and plentiful. Table bread was served with a rather plain oil with a fair but thin dark vinegar.

My pasta dish was good with a dozen small clams properly steamed and served on the Vongole. My guest had a spaghetti marinara. Both of our dinner plates were generously portioned.

Service was timely and dinner arrived piping hot which we appreciate.

We meet the owner and had a very pleasant dining experience. She said mid week diners are generally OK without a reservation but Friday and Saturday’s crowds really do require a preplanned reservation.

It was pretty noisy as the crowd increased and the walls reflect and seem to increase the repetition of noise on noise which by 7:30 made it a bit challenging for table conversation

Overall a nice place to go. If you are staying at certain local hotels, as we were, there may be a 10% discount for dining early.

Casual Italian bistro with very good food. Service was friendly and prompt. The highlight of the meal was their homemade past. You can certainly taste the difference. The lasagna was very good.

A very nice place. If you go on a Friday or Saturday, order the lasagna, it’s fantastic! That is the only two days they serve it.
Great wine selection too.
The rest of the menu seemed hit and miss for me.
I will definitely go back again though.

A very impressive wine list...especially Italian wines. The food is also impressive...pretend you are eating in Italy...beautiful inhouse made pasta...and more. I gave three stars on ambience because the bar area at entry (which is where I sat).....features an impressive back wall with hundreds of wine bottles ...and it is dark...needs accent lighting to show the collection. It felt like the place was preparing to close for evening. The lighting in other dining areas seemed fine. Aesthetics ..especially lighting is important to me in the overall experience. But I will return...for the food and Italian wine.

Our first visit was New Year’s Eve and we were thoroughly impressed! The menu had a plethora of delicious choices for the pre-set 4 course meal menu. Every course was scrumptious! Our waitress was bubbly and attentive. Our entire group left Ciao’s very full, very happy, and excited to return to this jewel of a restaurant!

The owner is very involved and makes an effort to visit with every patron. She even went so far as to give us some samples of the Italian wines to try before we purchased a bottle (they have California wines, but when your having Italian food, Italian wine is simply the way to go).

I would highly recommend getting any of the pasta dishes, I had one of the specials...fettuccine with shrimp in truffle oil sauce (amazing).

This restaurant has great potential and the owners are very personable. However, the wait staff appears to need more training in how best to create a positive customer experience. And this is the second time we have experienced this. Several simple requests went unfilled like please bring the fresh pepper grinder for my salad. There were 4 of us having dinner and 3 of the four meals came out at once. Mine did not arrive. I waited several minutes and finally had to ask what happened to my meal. It appears I was totally forgotten but it did arrive about 5 minutes later.

The only addition that I wish the restaurant had was a full bar. They do have a pretty extensive list of wines from around the globe. This is a wonderful Italian Restaurant - It has been opened for just over a year. Our waiter was great. He is actually from Italy and I felt like I was back in Italy.

The food was fantastic. Nice, fresh and good serving sizes. I heard the owner mention in February that they will be adding pizzas to their menu. If you are in the area you should definitely stop by for a meal.

We love Ciao restaurant and frequent the place regularly! The food is authentic, the owner and many of the family members that work there were born and raised in Italy. The owner, Miranda is absolutely lovely, charming, has great attention to detail;
it is very important to her that her guests are happy with the food and service and she makes sure that they are well attended to, always!

Great variety of food and drinks, pasta is homemade, always light and fresh.

My friend and I find that it is a great place to study our Italian and often spend 2 to 3 hours at a table and, sometimes, Miranda, the owner, will sit and give us help. She’s the best! The ambience is lovely and the dining experience is wonderful.

We have traveled extensively through it Italy and In terms of food, Ciao is first class and it takes a true Italian to offer great Italian cuisine.

We have been meaning to go this place since it opened and it did not disappoint. My husband and I came in with our 3 kids and loved it. The owner came around and laughed and joked with us. The service was excellent and had a great wine list. Would love to come with just the 2 of us and just have some wine and appetizers because of the atmosphere, but would not hesitate to take the whole family again.

Wanted to try something new. Love Italian. So when this place had good reviews I made a reservation a week in advance for a Friday night. Got there and still waited 20-30mins. Then we were placed at a random high top table in middle of restaurant. For the price of the food I expected the environment to be better. Bathroom was old and the toilet literally was moving!! Are you kidding? Pay 16$ for pasta to $30 or up for anything else and your restroom looks like that. No thank you.
