Antonio y Josie Navarra crearon el Ciao Italia Ristorante en 1991, en Orlando, Florida. Ambos son naturales de Italia, Antonio de Salerno y Josie de Palermo. Hoy en día, el negocio de la familia Navarra no solo incluye a Antonio y Josie, sino que también están Carmen, Vincenzo y Vanessa, sus 3 hijos. Let me start by saying I was expecting a hidden gem. First disappointment was the Waiter could not offer and suggestion for a signature dish or what dish "should I order to make me want to come back?'. The response was everything is good. That should have told me everything. Positives: Bruschetta, Caprese and Garlic Bread with Mozzarella Negatives: The entire table was disappointed with their Main Course, which included Fettuccine(s), Spaghetti(s) and Lobster Ravioli. The best way to describe them was similar to what you could get at Fazolis, only 3 x's as expensive. Service was lacking as they knew they would get 20% no matter what due to group size.

Food just average service average not friendly at all . Tip included for 4 tops without telling the guest . Menu shows 5 tops and more tip included. We still tip 20% but not happy with service, not going back

Food is outstanding. Servers can be a bit abrupt but very responsive. Ambience could be a bit more cozy but it is still a strip mall location, so I guess there limitations to the design.

Let me first start off by saying I don’t normally leave reviews, but after this meal I felt compelled!!! We came in from out of town and were in the mood for Italian. I did some searching on my phone and Ciao appeared under “best Italian restruants in Orlando”. The menu looked like it had a very nice verity, so we decided to give it a shot. Upon our arrival, we were greeted at the door by Carmelo who was also our server for the evening. He was very friendly and super attentive. For starters we had the bruschetta and 2 orders of the meatballs. Both were excellent, the bruschetta was very fresh and had a wonderful flavor. The meatballs may have been the best I’ve ever had. Next my daughter and I split a ceaser salad and it was a perfect portion to share. For our main entree’s, my wife got basic spaghetti with mariana and split that with my youngest daughter. My other daughter had the lasagna, and I got the special which was spinach and cheese ravioli with a mushroom cream sauce topped with chicken. We all agreed that this was probably the best itilian we’ve ever had, it was absolutely amazing! Finally, it came time for dessert and as usual, we couldn’t all decide on one thing so we got three…. The chocolate cake, ricotta cheesecake with strawberry sauce, and the lemon sorbet. As the head of the household, I felt it was by duty to make sure all 3 desserts were up to par and they did not disappoint. We enjoyed every last bite 😁 I can’t say enough wonderful things about our experience at Ciao. The food was incredible and the service was impeccable! I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the Orlando area and in the mood for Italian. Don’t forget to ask for Carmelo ….he will take excellent care of your every need! We will definitely be back next time we are in town!

This is absolutely my favorite restaurant in Orlando. It goes beyond "hidden gem" -- it's a five-star restaurant in cuisine, service, ambience, etc., but affordable enough to be a go-to for our family. If I have a choice of restaurant for a special occasion, board meeting, group outing, ladies' night, or casual dinner with my kids, this is my first and only choice. The only issue I have is that when I bring guests, they want recommendations, and I can't endorse any particular dish because they are all so heavenly. I also have trouble deciding on what I want and I end up ordering an absurd amount of food, knowing I can't possibly finish it all, but I want to try everything. If I'm backed into a corner, I'd say the lobster bisque, the burrata salad, the charcuterie grazing board, and then you move onto the entrees. The Penne Vodka con Salmone, the Boar Pappardelle, the Tortellini con Brasato e Tartufo, the Sacchetti al Filetto, and so much more are 5-star choices. Vitello Picatta, Pollo Marsala, Brasato, the Agnello... there's no bad choice. And don't get me started on their house-made desserts, which are out of this world.

Waiter service was extremely slow and inattentive, taking 2 hours to serve dinner. The waiter then forgot that we had been waiting nearly 2 hours and offered us dessert and the bill. I was then struck in the head with a plate by a server (while seated) who then proceeded to offer no apology nor any renumeration

I booked this for my colleagues to have a business dinner at and they were disappointed. I booked based off the great reviews and it wasn’t such a great experience. The food was so so and the service was just okay. There is now drink menu and a very poor wine selection. We were excited to find a new place but overall disappointed in the experience and food.
