Food was horrible. Drinks tasted like juice. If you are paying over 10 dollars a drink it should have alcohol in it. Just don’t bother.
The service and food quality was wonderful. Definitely one of a kind experience!
The food and ambiance is amazing. the service was great and we will definitely return.
The roof top bar is a great location for your meal! The Scottish egg appetizer was fantastic! You need to try it.
The restaurant was beautiful. We ate up on the roof, which was very nice. The food and service was very good. The main objection and the reason for then 3 stars was the tap. While I observed that the beer selection was greater inside than on the roof, for a British pub, there was very little English beer.
If the beer selection is not important, I would recommend this restaurant to others
They lost our order so it took a long time to get our meal but they gave me a free beer. Otherwise food and service was good
Brunch board was amazing. Fast and friendly service.
Everything was superb
Ok food service was poor.
Food was delicious, had the cottage pie and steak n ale pie. The service was not that great, was seated at a table that was serviced by someone different than the server in that specific room. So it was difficult to ask or get their attention when needed.
Our waiter, Malik, was the best. He took care of us twice during our trip - a happy hour, then dinner another night.
We enjoyed the food and drinks, the decor and British pub experience is great -- even had live music. Only problem was 2 parties in our dining room who were way too loud. Their complete disregard for the dining enjoyment of others while they shrieked at each other was mind boggling.
We love a good British Pub!! Our server was attentive and friendly. The options for traditional “British Pub Food” were
good as well. The Steak and Ale pie was outstanding! I would recommend Churchill’s and hope to visit again soon.
Our server did a fantastic job helping us celebrate our one year anniversary, and even made up a mock-tail for my wife who is pregnant and can not have alcohol. Highly recommend!
Food was very good as well as the service even though they were short staffed. Glad we made a reservation. Usual pub type atmosphere, nothing special.
My wife, 16 month old son, and I stopped in for dinner while on our savannah vacation. Out of all the restaurants we ate at during this trip (which was quite a few) we enjoyed the food at this the most. Our waiter also provided very good service.
Great bartender and server!
Food was better than expected and we will back next time we are in Savannah
We had great service from Paige for Sunday brunch, and the food was excellent!
Our reservation was for 11am which is when they open. They were a bit frazzled and a little late but we were seated shortly after. Food was good—the scotch egg & banger sausage were my favourites because they reminded me of home. Had a Man U game on TV and music by various British artists playing which was awesome. Overall was good.
First we had been in Savannah for several days and never once got carded. We were all in our 60s but some of us could not get drinks because we did not have our ID. Ridiculous.
The menu was very limited. If you have a food allergy, especially gluten and wheat, you won't have much if anything to eat. None of the appetizers were GF and everything was breaded and fried. Some if us enjoyed the raw bar but it only consisted of tuna, oysters, and one other item we did not order. They were enjoyed.
So if you like fried food like onion rings and hush puppies you will be fine. Although the waitress was nice, she did not offer any suggestions for food allergy issues. consequently one in our party had water the entire night. It was very uncomfortable and very inconvenient. Some effort should’ve been made to make some thing for her to eat.
On the side- the ladies restroom was disgusting.
We dine out and travel frequently. We will not be returning to Churchill's.
Excellent food and cocktails, incredibly friendly and attentive staff.
Very disappointing!! Food had no taste. British fare didn’t taste anything like it tasted in Britain.
The restaurant lost our reservation but they were able to seat us after a 10-15 minute wait. Everyone on the staff was very pleasant. The food was just so-so, but the truffle fries were terrific.
We got in at the end of Happy Hour and wanted our pints of Harp for $3.00 apiece. The crab cakes and shepherds pie were delicious! Our server had a great friendly personality and was the epitome of southern charm. Would definitely go back!
Sadly the food was bland in taste as well as presentation.
I got the steak and chips and it was supposed to be truffle fries, it was just fries. The steak was not worth the $32.00 that was charged. The steak was placed on top of the fries, so they were a lot of them, but most were soggy and not really appetizing. The drink I ordered was great, but small for the 10 dollar price tag.
The service was okay, when it was time to pay, she was there, but never came back. Never understand why when it's time to give the tip so many wait staff decide to disappear.
Great food and very friendly staff! Romantic environment.
It was very loud with the live band and my party was not able to hear one another. Our server also forgot about us and we didn’t order our food for at least 45 minutes after we got there by a different server. They forgot two of our appetizers and gave them to another table. We then waited for our food for another hour and my salmon was very dry and the sweet potatoes and Brussels sprouts I ordered were unseasoned. It then took another 30 minutes for us to get checks and leave. Overall a very annoying experience and I will never go back.
Made a reservation, showed up a bit early and then the hostess forget we were there. Stood outside for 20+ minutes until she asked us if we were in line...so we reminded her we had a reservation for 20 minutes ago. She disappeared then ten minutes later showed us to a sticky table and gave us a single menu. Sat for another 20 minutes, ordered everything at once. Eventually our apps and soups showed up, our beers arrived five minutes after that. No spoon with my soup, had to go track down a server to get one myself. The food was fine, when we paid for it the server disappeared with the credit card for 15 minutes. Eventually we got to leave and that was great.
Made reservations for 1130 brunch. We arrived and were seated right away. Our server was very nice and semi attentive. The food was not very good. One person in our party got a burger and it was extra extra done. Also didn’t come with any of the toppings, even though he didn’t make a special order. Another person in our party got a chicken sandwich that was extra extra hard fried, also didn’t come with any of the toppings even though he didn’t make a special order either. Also ordered fries and got fried brussel sprouts. Another ordered fish and chips. Fish was so greasy that there was a puddle of grease when the fish was moved. Best part was that they have Truly on tap which is the drink of choice of the birthday girl.
Full pub menu, great prices, helpful staff and fast service. It's right on the main drag, very easy to walk to.
Poor service, had reservation and waited for an hour to get food. Food and drinks took a long time and then my husbands chicken was raw in the center
The food is terrible. Instant mashed. The fried chicken was one wing and it was so dry. Th Mac and cheese tasted like it had been in a steam table for 12 hours. And the chicken pot pie tasted like it came out of a can.
Well spaced out. Environment was relaxed. Service was grand. Food enjoyable.
Overall we were excited about going and heard about the amazing food. The food is definitely worth it however the service seemed to be lacking. When we were sat it took quite awhile before we even got menus. The waitress was very friendly and apologetic but she seemed swamped and no one would help out. I would go back but probably just for drinks.
The rooftop bar bartender was amazing. If food was served up there, would've stayed the whole time. He was friendly and the drinks were great. Went to sit at inside bar for dinner and waited about 10-15 minutes before that bartender even acknowledged us. Multiple wait staff were behind the bar, none even offered to grab us a menu or anything. Finally got a menu, another 10 minutes before we could order. Ordered filet medium rare, came out well done. Got kitchen to recook and still came out basically well done. Didn't feel like waiting for a 3rd time so we just paid and left. Definitely won't be stopping here again when in town.
Michael was a great waiter. Provided just the right amount of attention when waiting on us.
The food was fine. My sister had the fish sandwich and was not impressed. Just the fish and bread. No lettuce or tomato. Had to ask for tartar sauce. The meatloaf was very good. My other sister loved the bread pudding. I would eat here again when in Savannah.
Beautiful building and car but the food was less than mediocre.
Amazing experience! Food was fantastic and it made me feel like I was back in England! 👍🏽
