just a poor restaurant -- poorly prepared (overcooked steak, dry rice) hard to find -- no signage
Disappointing as a restaurant for special occasions. I am not sure they had an experienced chef when we were there. Appetizer was brought out after the salads. Butter for bread was in liquid condition which I found surprising. We went on a Friday night at 6 and were only 2 of 8 people in the restaurant.
Food and service were both really good. The menu is not extensive, but we have always liked what we ordered. Dining room is classy and attractive, while being quiet enough for a conversation or romantic dinner.
We were the only ones dining tonight.... salad was fresh
Partner had the soup which was very good & veal chop was mouthwatering. I had the sea bass which was very good
Dessert was the only thing that was average.

Menu choice is somewhat limited, however offering was of high quality. Streaks were cooked perfectly and presented well. Restaurant is small and elegant, enabling actual conversation, which is refreshing these days. Service was friendly and attentive. Churchill's greatly exceeded my expectations for a hotel restaurant.
My steak was good. My wife's scollops and pasta were lukewarm, like it had been sitting out of a while. The restaurant service was slow. The restaurant was not busy. The place was short staffed by one.

We enjoyed our meal very much! Although we did decide that those of us that ordered the filet out ordered those that ordered the sl strip.

We have eaten in Churchill's a number of times and it is always a great experience. The food is exceptionally good and the quiet ambiance makes it a great setting to enjoy a fine meal and thoughtful conversation. I highly recommend the sea bass and the kale salad. My husband always raves about the steaks. They have a new concept that allows a person to cook his own steak on a hot stone, so every bite is perfect and hot. Most of the sides are large enough to share.
We love to frequent this restaurant a few times a year. This bisitvwe brought a friend for his birthday and they lived it as well. This type of ambiance is non existant anywhere else. Also, good for us, maybe not for the restaurant, we were the only table the entire night.
