   My mother and I are here for Mothers Day weekend and chose to have brunch at Church and Union! The brunch was amazing! I had the breakfast sandwich, egg, cheddar cheese, & sausage on a croissant and my mother had the Brioche French Toast! Y’all the food was so good! Sydney C was our server and she was so sweet! Highly recommend this location for brunch!

   Sit at the bar and ask for Pepe, a friendly bartender from New England. Food is phenomenal and very cool atmosphere

   To sum it up our experience was rushed. I took my wife out for her birthday at Church & Union which was her favorite restaurant. I got us a table outside on the patio which was nice. There were a couple tables seated and a couple empty. It was nice weather and the noise level was pleasant allowing us to converse. However the process of service was extremely rushed. As former servers ourselves my wife and I are cognoscente of if a restaurant is full diners should be respectful of not holding a table up for coffee and chatter however it was a Tuesday evening and there were a number vacant tables. Our first round of drinks were delivered with the appetizers and the meals followed after my last bite of the appetizer. Our whole time at the table was no more than 45 mins. Usually I would be able to cite that for the money we spent we should have been afforded the common courtesy of relaxing and enjoying our meal however I can’t because we weren’t at the table a long enough fir me to spend any money on a bottle of wine and an after dinner drink and desert. I’ll end with this could’ve been just a bad night and I’ll give them another shot but this is just my own personal pet peeve. When I take people out I want I plan to spend money and tip adequately and along with that I expect not to be rushed

   Had lunch at C and U. It was fantastic as usual. Service couldn't be any better - super friendly too. Food came out hot. Very reasonable for a downtown restaurant. This is one of my favorite restaurants in Charleston!

   Our server Kyle was great, knowledgeable about the foods that were on the menu very polite and helpful, the food came out fast. The taste of the food was great. The portion size was perfect. The cost wasn't too bad. And the atmosphere was delightful. I would recommend going if your in sc.

   We had a wonderful dinner, made especially memorable thanks to our waiter, Sam. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly friendly-his service truly elevated our experience. The food was excellent as well. The meatballs and shrimp appetizers were delicious, and both the salmon dish and lamb burger were rich in flavor and cooked to perfection. However, we were disappointed with the hostesses. They lacked warmth and friendliness, which set a less-than-welcoming tone upon arrival. A host plays a key role in creating a positive first impression, and unfortunately, that was missing.

   A fun experience. The food was large portions and tasteful. Creative presentations for the servings we had. I had the pan tuna, which was excellent! Also had the muscles which were large portion and very flavorful. The decor and atmosphere is fun and vibrant! A great place for a fun evening, but if you looking for something quiet and romantic, this is not the environment.

    This was one of the best meals we had in Charleston! The food was amazing and our waiter Sam was the best! The restaurant itself is just beautiful. We had great service from the minute we stepped inside the doors!
