The bone-in Cowboy Ribeye cooked medium rare was on point! My wife, who knows her steaks, said that was hands down the best Ribeye ever. We also really enjoyed the mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. The staff and food won our repeat business.
AWFUL, AWFUL, AWFUL!!! Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Arrived at scheduled reservation time. Was asked to wait even though they had numerous tables open because they were “too busy”. Said no problem waiting and asked to sit at the bar for a drink while waiting. Was told no again due to being “too busy”. They had exactly 7 tables TOTAL. When we were finally sat we were told we would be “taken good care of”. Sat for about 15 minutes while numerous servers walked by us without be greeted. End up walking out. Would never suggest too anyone. Worst experience I’ve ever had and I go out for dinner every night. Don’t recommend!!!
Overbooked the restaurant, we did not receive our reserved table
My only complaint is that the manager was not wearing his mask properly.
Hailey was amazing and the food very good.
It was my wife’s birthday. And were members of their club, never received a free steak or free parking? Everything else was excellent
A wonderful evening of great food, great service and a quiet atmosphere. Look out Ruth Chris - this has become our new favorite up scale steak restaurant without a doubt. We highly recommend the lobster corn dogs - very good, rib-eye was perfection. We thought about ordering the evening's special the Waygu steak for two, but went with two separate entrees. The rib-eye steak came home and was as good the next day a a steak/eggs/hash brown breakfast.
The staff was very attentive, very knowledgeable and with COVID looming in the background everywhere you go it felt like a "normal" evening on the town with a wonderful dinner.
We will return soon and highly recommend this relatively new location to family and friends.
Thank you for a wonderful evening.
Great food and service !
Great service very nice people, the food was very good just a little pricey we had a great time
Great service and excellent good. It will be on our list of favorites from here on out.
The food came out plated wrong, my steak was barely even cooked, and the waiter cleared the table before bringing my corrected steak back. After all of that, we requested that the steak, which was not eaten, be taken off the bill, to which the server said she was unable to help. Fortunately, the manager Did finally agree to rectify the bill. It was a very lackluster experience, mainly due to service issues. For the price point there are far better steak houses in downtown Salt Lake.
We hadn't been to Christopher's in a few years. After this experience, we won't let that happen again. Our server was amazing, and the food was perfect. So delicious.
The service was excellent!!! The food was kind of pricey but excellent as well!!! Great selection of beer and wine!!! Overall we had a great time!!!
Best Cesar Salad I can ever recall. We ordered a ribeye, medium. It was more like midium-rare. Steak loses too much when thrown back on the grill. Still an excellent steak. Many love a medium-rare steak so it would have been a real treat for them. Next time, I will order by color and I should be fine. The wine was great. I was fine with $15/glass until I saw it for $9.99 a bottle online. I expect a small premium. That is more like a gouge.
Food was great and thats why we decided to go back for our anniversary, it was romantic great food, nice background music, some wine and great atmosphere oh and we were left alone which it made more intimate for my wife and I.
Food tasted great and the service was on point
i have been a Ruth's Chris patron since childhood. my wife's boss suggested Christopher's and claimed it was far superior in comparison. he was more than right. the service was great, and the food was fantastic. i still left stuffed, but didn't feel sick in the slightest. Christopher's doesn't use pounds of butter to create their amazing taste. whatever they do, they need to keep doing, because they've gained a new patron for life. A+.
Service from Elias, Michael, Todd and help from others was excellent. Very friendly and efficient. Dinner was excellent. It is a little on the high end, but was worth the extra cost. My wife and I plan on visiting again.
It was greasy bar food masquerading as a fancy steakhouse. I’m sure after a bottle of wine the food would have tasted pretty good but I had to drive so I ate it sober. Plus it gave me a tummy ache.
They have moved locations without telling any one. The new space is nowhere near as nice.
Those was very strange in his communication methods.
My steak was vastly over cooked but I didn’t have time to get it fixed.
We ordered three desserts. One came out 30 minutes after the others.
This has been my favorite restaurant for many years but I won’t be going back any time soon.
Booked this restaurant for a surprise for my husbands birthday. When we arrived the restaurant was closed. Pretty disappointing that they let you make a reservation for a day/time they are not open.
Fantastic food, service and atmosphere.
Way over priced.. we came in around 9 on Saturday night. My date ordered a medium ribeye steak and I ordered a medium rare New York strip...I think they were entered in switched around and by the time the waiter came over it was almost closing time and we had watched the cooks get everything shut down and cleaned up as we were sat right by the kitchen. I told him the mess up and he offered to have it fixed But I didn’t want to wait another hour for another steak as my date was completely almost done with his and it was already 10 by this point. I feel if the waiter had came back within the first five minutes of us getting our plates it could’ve been fixed.... for a $75 steak it should’ve been perfection!!
I shared a tomahawk steak with my buddy. Best. Steak. Ever!
Wow. I cannot even begin to describe the superb dining experience at Christopher’s Prime. The meal was beyond delicious and service exceptional.
Horrible / not anything like it used to be.
We came to Christopher’s for a special company dinner. Our party of six ordered various items, mostly in the “steak” category. We also ordered salads as well as sides to share. Everything was absolutely delicious! The sides were so good and the large portions for two could have easily served three or four. We also had creme brûlée for dessert. Fantastic! The service was great and the ambiance of the restaurant was lovely. The prices are all al a carte and on the higher priced side, but for a special occasion, I would choose this restaurant any time. It’s my new favorite for this type of dining. Well done, Christopher’s!
We had the Tomahawk Steak and shared it between the 4 of us. The steak was very tender and delicious. Some of the dishes we enjoyed were: the au gratin potatoes, the sauteed mushrooms, rolls, creme brulee, chocolate mousse cake, and flourless chocolate cake.
It was our first visit to Salt lake City. We were visiting our son for the first time who is attending school out here. It was my birthday so we decided to have dinner at one of the City's "nicer" eateries. We had made reservations for 7 pm but it probably didn't matter as the restaurant was relatively quiet and we probably could have just walked in off of the street. The food was very good, we all ordered filet mignon and if I had only a few complaints about the food itself, it was that they were undercooked and the outer seared layer of the filet was overly salty, not enough to make it unpalatable but enough for us to all agree it was a little too salty for our taste. The sides are family style so we all shared and they were very good.
Our server was ok. Just ok. No welcoming tone in his voice and he didn't seem overly excited about the menu items. He reviewed the specials with us in a monotone voice and basically just went through the motions. Not that we expect a song and dance, but at the better restaurants we frequent, the waitstaff shows more interest in their approach of serving us. The server at The Pig and a Jelly Jar for example showed more enthusiasm in serving us breakfast that morning.
Overall, it was a pleasant experience. We would go there again.
We weren't very impressed with the food or the service sadly. Not worth the price.
As always, great steak and amazing service. . . . .
Daniel was an awesome waiter! Will definitely come back when in the area.
For the price, I didn’t feel the level of experience was there. My steak was under done. Service was not 5 star. Not a very professional customer base. People sitting next to us wore tshirts and cut off. Space had cement floors and very cold. The chef came out in dirty shirt and cleared my table. Very odd. Menu on Yelp mentioned entree included side and salad but everything separate.
Daniel was amazing and the cheese cake was divine!! The Lobster “Corndogs” are my new favorite thing ever!!!
Still the best piece of meat in SLC. There are other steakhouses, they are good, but, if you are truly seeking a the place that has the best cuts and cooks them right, it is here.
Christopher's had a fine dining feel immediately upon entering. The outstanding service and quality of the food/drinks make it a must visit if you're wanting a fine dining experience in Salt Lake City.
Beautiful meal, great service, lovely ambiance. We sat outside on the terrace and ordered a filet (perfectly cooked and the best steak I’ve had in a long time), au gratin potatoes (divine), CP salad, Brussel sprouts, and crepe brûlée. Really top quality in every way. We will certainly be back.
We waited a half hour for our waiter to even ask us for anything, then an additional 20 min for drinks, then they undercooked our steaks badly. Loved the ambiance, but the poor service really made us not want to come back.
The food and service were amazing. They should enforce their dress code to create a nicer ambiance.
This a great spot for an occasion dinner date! Food was delicious, expect to pay a pretty penny.
Blah food. Nothing spectacular except the bill. Tony’s old fashioned whiskey was great tho
