   Really tasty dishes beautifully cooked to perfection ! We had the salmon and the lamb dishes which were both outstanding. Comfortable decor with lovely big window watching over a quiet square.

   Service slightly all over the place with the waitress struggling. She seemed very nice but a bit overwhelmed perhaps. Some food very good indeed - the mackerel and pork belly were excellent, but some prominent misses too, such as the pea 'mousse' which was watery and lacked dimension. Cocktail presentation poor, but breads excellent (a stand-out, in fact). So, altogether a mixed dining experience.

   I've dined here 4 or 5 times and always loved the detail and quality of ingredients and cooking. Sadly this time the plates were a mess, key ingredients were missing (oysters replaced disastrously with snail), venison wildly overcooked. I noticed that the usual chef was not at work that day. And it was quite quiet for a Thursday evening. :(

   First time tonight. Excellent quality, innovative, well prepared food. Roast cauliflower much better presented and finished than most ubiquitous versions. Individual Arabic Lamb hotpot with smoked aubergine and a refreshing mint salad with pomegranate was perfectly executed. Wine list, short but well chosen majoring in antipodean and European with great "by the glass selection". Warm chocolate cake dessert was again much smarter than the average. Lovely presentation of everything with quality ceramic plates and glassware. Nice minimalist space with comfortable seating. Warm and friendly service. Highly recommended.

    Not good (despite the many growing reviews). We opted for the set menu and were very underwhelmed, even for the price. The oyster/scrambled egg didn't really work, the bread sounded good but was disappointing, the starter was cold and unappetising with raw broccoli shavings and was vastly underseasoned, the chicken main course had so many spices and flavours thrown at it, none of which worked togather. Frankly the only decent course was the dessert, a molten chocolate cake, which I'd be surprised if you could get wrong. To top it all off the atmosphere was non-existent and the pacing of the courses was so overly rushed we felt we were being quickly ushered out the door again (odd in a near-empty restaurant). Very disappointed given other things I've heard about the place, but I wouldn't trust these people to make me a sandwich.
