Chotto Mate reúne lo mejor de la cultura japonesa y peruana mediante una gastronomía Nikkei de alta calidad y coloridos cocteles. ¿Qué es Nikkei? Hace muchos años, inmigrantes japoneses viajaron a Perú con el fin de encontrar un trabajo. Sin embargo, dado que no encontraron nada y no contaban con los ingredientes auténticos de japón para cocinar, comenzaron a utilizar ingredientes locales como substituto. Es entonces que Nikkei nació. ¿Qué es Chotto Matte? Es una experiencia. El personal profesional del lugar conoce cada uno de los ingredientes utilizados en los platillos y saben cuál es la mejor manera para servirlos a los clientes. The food was as always outstanding. The service a little slow at first but this was peak Saturday pre theatre time. Only minor niggle was I felt the music was a touch too loud. I will still return .

Very loud music playing the whole evening. Was very hard to hold a conversation without shouting. Asked them to lower the volume a bit, they said sure, but didn’t actually do that. Food was pretty great though, especially ceviche and miso black cod

The menu is for sharing, we knew this.. But the food turns up at different times, and some of the dishes were not as hot as you may expect. Service and drinks were excellent. Would I go again? Probably not, price for what you get is not the best value

Food and ambience was great but we were a table of vegetarians, all ordering from the vegetarian set menu and were served raw fish instead of the lychee ceviche. When we notified this to the team, they were very unapologetic just stating ‘they look the same’, which was disappointing. Felt like they could have handled the situation differently and an apology would have been welcomed
