   We went early Sunday evening for our anniversary dinner so the crowd was light. We ordered the Black Diamond steak for two and several appetizers to share. Service was excellent and food was delicious! Chops in one of our favorite fine dining experiences in Atlanta, We will be back!

   The service was fantastic, the food impeccable (especially the Chilean Sea Bass & Faroe Island Salmon dish!) and the atmosphere so very pleasant! Everyone is soooo nice! Chops has been the ‘go to’ place for us for a long time now and I just cannot say enough about the place! Thanks Chops for such a wonderful lunch experience again! You gotta go! Enjoy!

   We went to Chops this past New Year’s Eve and had such a wonderful dinner that we took our kids Sunday night for Mother’s Day dinner. This time, the prices were much higher, and the portions were much smaller (in particular, a fish entrée and shared sides). The steak fillet was unusually tough for a Chops steak. Otherwise, the rest of the food was good but oddly enough, they had run out of Hash Browns and Tater Tots! Our primary server was attentive although the rest of the service was spotty; for example, we had to wait a bit for beverage service and had to ask for bread three times before they brought a small basket to the table. They also continued to push desserts on us that we did not want. While we attributed some of the issues above to it being the "busiest day of the year" in the restaurant industry, we were a little disappointed with the overall experience on this special occasion.

   Overall, the food was as expected but the service as not great. The waiters never checked in. Only take our order and that was literally it. Never saw them again until I had to ask for another drink and the check. More than 30 minutes went by with no checkin and eventually I had to stop one and requested our check. We would have stayed longer and ordered more but decided it wasn't worth it. Very disappointing. And yes it was busy, but I noticed how larger tables were being well taken care of. So to ignore a table for 2 but provide better service for a table of 5 -- it seems as though it was able the bottom line.

   Chad and team were very attentive and food (filet and black grouper) were both fantastic. Onion rings are the best anywhere!! Thanks to all!
