Choi's is a Contemporary Asian restaurant founded by Choi, who was at the time, 23 years old. Voted as the best Korean restaurant by San Diego Magazine, Choi's brings creativity and intensity by carrying their classic menu as well as a rotating Weekly Menu. What is a life goal you have? Choi's promises a full secrecy on the answers given for the questions. We are excited to be creative within your life story. We have been to Choi’s Korean at least a dozen times and have never been disappointed. We enjoy not only the meals but the entire experience. Always greeted with a warm welcome and a beautiful resservation card on our table with a little flower. The staff and the owner manage to provide a special kind of hospitality— the kindness and attention doesn’t feel forced, but truly sincere. It’s lovely! Then there is the food…. consistently very very good. We have tried many of the menu items and have our favorites. Oysters, Chili Shrimp appetizer, Eggplant Appetizer are ones we particularly enjoy. The Beef Short Ribs (Galbi Bowl) and the Muchroom Fettuccini are outstanding… but do try anything that catches your eye. Half the fun is exploring. Give Choi’s Korean a try, You will be glad you did.

We took a romantic getaway to celebrate our upcoming 30th anniversary in San Diego...and I thought this modern fusion Korean restaurant looked like a good place to start! As anticipated, the place was posh...and quite spacious, including their lofty bar area. I was grateful to see that they greeted us with this celebratory bubbly drinks for starters. Nice! In addition, we ordered beer and cocktails. I can't remember the name, but mine had a sweet chocolate taste. We started by sharing these Bulgogi Bao Tacos...then my husband had this Korean Chicken dish, and I had their Galbi Stone Bowl. All were really good...but my favorite was the amazing Bao Tacos. I wished I ordered 2-3 of those! For desserts, we shared this Hotteok with Ice Cream and this other fruity brulee-type dish. We agreed that Hotteok was the winner of the two. Delish! We both truly enjoyed this modern Korean fusion dining experience...and hope to revisit on our future trips back to San Diego.

Dylan was an outstanding waiter and made our night an incredible and unforgettable one. Truly the first real dining experience we have ever been apart of and will be coming back time and time again. Thank you to everyone on the staff for making it such a special day.

Food and service were great. Big shout out to General Manager Adam for accommodating my large party tonight and making it memorable. We will definitely come back.

It is a beautiful restaurant and the service was amazing, but unfortunately, the food still short. We had their pork belly bao taco, and it was really salty. We also had their bulbulgi and it was also too salty. hopefully they will make adjustments.

onvenient location next to Petco park and convention center, food is authentic and creative, especially the pork belly, so delicious.
